your pics are much better ! Thanks, that is the THING what i mean :-) Perhaps it was planned to build a new Disco Club but they had not enough money

well the legend

The story i was told when i arrived in ibiza in 1990 was.....it used to be an open air disco called ideal.. but the owner couldnt afford to put a roof on it so tried to do an insuance job..ie fire..got caught and sent to prison!!!!! can not believe he is still there?????? any one know anything else8O 8O

thats what i had heard in the 90s...but in the 80s there was a open air club.just a little bit further up the road.may be same place ( i was only in my teens drunk)..but i cannot thing of its name?i know it had tents as covers,

Why hasn't it been removed anyway? It must be a prime site for development and isn't half ugly.

Still, it's one of the first signs that you're approaching San An.

started building it and got this far. then was told that it was too close to the other building by a few feet. Either knock it down or leave it.
bad planning

theres a legal distance it must be away from the other building. It may even be inches out but they couldnt go ahead with it

the urban myth i heard was that it was the original es paradis but the architect's plans were shot to fcuk so they scrapped it half way through and built the es paradis we have today.

:idea::?

no, it was an open air venue originally. like other discos it had to become enclosed when noise regulations were tightened up.

open air venue was furher up the road.and that cloesed well before
the noise regulations came in.my m8 right it was just to close to Es paradis
