What is your Favorite VIP to do?

We land Tuesday and are still trying to book a few VIP nights? Which clubs and nights are your favorite? I am seeing lots of bad reviews on Pacha so figured I would ask the board. Its our 1st trip to Ibiza and we are staying in PDB.. We don't care about cost as long as its worth it.. Thanks in advance.. Matt N Brooke

I agree to greg´s statement, but that´s probably not what you wanted to hear.

if you do have the do$h and don´t mind spending it, try getting one of the really good tables in pacha (jurados/moros area or also frontline of bar 11) or then try the new vip in hï - I would probably recommend the theatre room.

The main problem with booking VIP as a tourist in Ibiza is that the clubs aren't designed around it in the same way as Vegas or Miami, so there are a large number of tables in pretty average locations around the club, Pacha being a prime example. Safest bet if the VIP experience is what you care bout looks to be Hi as it is built in that style. In the end the quality of the VIP isn't going to define your night, just pick the nights you want to do, if you want to do VIP then so be it. I generally feel that as a tourist, unless you have something close to 5 figure sum to drop on a table, in most clubs on the island it wont be a lot to write home about.

As greg said go to vegas,Dubai,Miami places that do VIP and service good.. ibiza VIP is more ikea style and way over priced...

Pacha VIP is probably the best... so long as you book it direct through them (or Spotlight) and not through some less-scrupulous third party. Otherwise, yes, you will end up squeezed on a tiny wooden table on the peripherals of the dancefloor and won't see a waitress all night. Or worse, turn up and them not have any record of your booking at all.

Hï is obviously more geared towards that market and the venue designed with VIPs in mind. My guess is it will be super expensive (though I've not checked). Plus they may well be teething problems/finding their feet operationally at this early stage.

So - for the money - I reckon Pacha is still your best bet. Though it might depend on what your music tastes are?

Thanks everyone for the feedback.. Maybe we will just wing it this 1st trip before dropping 1500 -2000 on a VIP and being dissapointed

TBH, for that money (actually even less), you can rent a nice boat for a day with a skipper and have your own private cruise. IF I had the money, I would much rather spend it on something like that than a VIP table, but then everyone is different...

Shit! Is that what the VIPers are spending? I expect to spend 150-200 euros a night maximum for a good night (tickets excluded as they are bought before so don't count).

Pacha is €550 per couple nowadays (i believe). Was €400 a few years ago.

When you consider you might pay €50 each for admission - or more, depending on the event, plus €12-€20 per drink, it's arguable you get your money's worth*.

*(but, yes, there is still that age old argument about the point/legitimacy of VIP)

The money really isn't the issue as much as making sure my wife has a good time. She gets kinda freaked out if she is crammed with to many people in a tight space. We have never been before and it looks like the general admission dance floor is pretty packed with bodies. Pacha quoted us 1500e and a 500e drink minimum which is fine if its worth it but we were reading some bad reviews. We will def do a boat one day or more wile we are there.

It depends what night you do, but the VIP in Pacha is often ( Solomun for sure) just as bad as the main dance floor for crowding, with the added frustration that you cant just move and find somewhere quiet.

all about choosing the right spot.

matthew, try getting a table at the bar 12 area, tell the pacha people about your wife getting claustrophobic (even if that's an exaggeration) and they shall accommodate you.

VIP and ibiza in the same sentence is giving me urticaria.
i remember dancing with Jean-Paul Gaulthier on the Dome terrace 20 years ago, laughing like two teenage girls unders the stars.
