what is the significance/meaning of your username?

Mine is my name but made to sound a bit cheesy! It was given to me when I was 17 and djing Disco in a crappy pub. It kinda fit with the stuff I was playing so it kinda stuck.

mine is a complete piss take from my friends.:lol:

DJ was given to me by my friends as I piss about on my decks at every coffee table clubbing session that I have with my friends....
let's say I won't be doing any live gigs in the near future......ok, if my friends read this they would tell me off, cos I'm not that bad. l used to 'play out' at a couple of small clubs oop north years ago... but nothing special. also, out of my group of friends, I'm the only one that bangs on about the latest track, release, artist etc. So the DJ bit just stuck. :spank:

NC = Initials.

Nothing as funny as 'chicken thief'

Mine is a shortened version of a nickname I gained in high school.

It was back in the 1980s, in the era before widespread access to the Internet, when computer geeks and punk kids (I fell into both groups :lol:) used their modems to call up "bulletin board systems" to leave messages to each other like we do on here. I was trying to come up with a name somewhat like that of Johnny Rotten from Sex Pistols and P.I.L., given that my first name is John. Johnny Morbid seemed to fit since I was kind of a goth.

It change to Johnny Morbyd in '88 when I got personalized "Morbyd" license plates for my first car ("Morbid" was taken :evil:)

It got shortened to just Morbyd in the early '90s when I got my first Internet account.

Rob wasn't available on any email accounts so started using Robder and it kind of stuck from there.
