What is the meaning of your nick

no meaning to mine.

someone at work calls me Robo, its well wierd hearing a non spotlighter call me robo... :p

two meanings for my nick:

1) nostrum = "ours" in latin. (for example "mare nostrum"...which is the mediterranean sea...was so-called by the romans..."our sea")

2) nostrum = old trance producer (around 1994)
 
Meaning of my name

Mine is quite boring. I love the Raymond E. Fiest novels Magican etc (The Riftwar and Serpent war Sagas). In the stories, the Moredhel where clan's of elves that lived in the woods and usually killed and robbed any one/ anything outside of their clan. Very magical and feared beings. Not like me at all come to think of it :)
 
mine was a piss take on all the "players" in the club scene..... :rolleyes:
went to spain & realised they called records 'disco's' & had a :lol:
quite fitting without realising it @ the time really.....
 
It's a name my school friends used to call me when I was a teenager, I used it on another dance board when I was about 16/17, then met Jon, who has always called me Boo, then joined here so it kind of stuck! :D

I find people who don't even know my "nick" seem to always add "Boo" onto Becki anyway, i.e work people etc
 
I like all things minty yet I'm quite spicy. I also look a bit like Peppermint Patty from Peanuts. :lol:
