What is the deal with water in the clubs now?

Hey all,
The time is just ticking away to return to Ibiza for everybody... I can only imagine others are as excited as I am.

Just curious about what the water situation is now in the clubs... I remember reading last year that the island was getting a distillery that would pump at least decent drinking water into the clubs so we don't have to spend 8 euros on a bottle of water everytime we wanted a drink anymore... is this true or total rubbish? I remember someone saying the Privilege water is fine to drink, but Amnesia wouldn't supply the water, etc etc etc.

first ive heard about it but i wont get your hopes up too high perhaps someone like maccy can let us know whats happening.
 
as nitefly said don't ya get hopes up.

assume you will be paying usual price for water in the clubs, this year.
 
I hope you've not been drinking from the toilets fusion!

The water is OK to drink in Privilege IF you run out of money and no one can lend you any! I wouldn't any other time unless you fancy spending your hangover/comedown on the toilet!
 
Apparantly I've heard drinking your own urine is good for you..... maybe a last resort? :?

Seriously the water in the clubs is so rank. I tried drinking the tap water in Pacha thinking sod the 8 euros and I was very nearly sick all over their lovely rooftop terrace.
 
From what I can remember.. I think Priviledge's drinking water is spring fed, rather the than the islands' purification. Hence it's drinkable .. where no where else is.. :)

The above is correct. It tastes completely normal and my tummy was fine the next day. Apparantly there is one tap in the blokes loos in Amnesia which is ok as well (not that I've been in there to try it out)
 
I know the waters dear but theres no way id risk drinking from the taps, although its probably less risky than some of the things we neck while out there :roll:

Yep and they are tiny 330ml ones. In Pacha they give them to you in a glass bottle without a lid on. 8O Thanks Pacha, that's really helpful for when I'm dancing. :roll:

I worked out that if you're in a club for about 7 hours and drink the amount of water you're supposed to, you could easilly spend nearly 100 euros on water alone!

Hehe, i didn't don't worry. I just meant its drinkable compared to other clubs on the island ;)
