So have you decided what part of town you want to stay in, Mikkak?

the hotel I have got it, thanks God, I had a moment of ilumination :D :D a week or so a go ;)
What I mean that as I have so little time I would like to know in what concrete area I going to have dinner , have a drink etc, I don't want to wonder in the midle of the nigth without knowing where I am going ;) :D

jope I missing you for a week

Thanks N8 and Nitefly

my experience tells me its nice to be int he centre. for absolute shite hotel, but excellent location try regent palace hotel on picadilly circus. cheap, and sorta clean....but very very old and used.

^ i stayed there for one night a couple of months ago, a mate had booked it to crash in after clubbing. WORST HOTEL EVER. Do not go there. Full of prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers and general scum. I-G is right, it is ver used! Everything in the rooms was worn out, some rooms didn't even have their own bathroom, you had to share with the whole corridor like a scuzzy youth hostel or sometihing. It wasn't even that cheap either.

ehmmmm???did i miss something?
you can pay for your own bath/Loo
BUT
The place is NOT clean, i tell you.

IG, you're probably not as atuned to spotting pimps, ho's and dealers as me ;)

I am staying in Falcon Hotel, I think is very cheap and reasonable and I had good reviews of it. Nevertheless I am not very concerned in the hotel, I prefer to waste my money in restaurants and bars and maybe some shopping.
I just been cut off of another nigth in London. Cause i am arriving on thursday, my uncle is comming to get me and we are all going to Peterborough. The first plan was to go back to London friday afternoon but my uncle says he prefers us to stay a nigth more and I happy with that cause I miss him and wont be able to see him again till march that he is comming to Mallorca. Sooooo I just staying a hole day and a nigth in London and I want to spend some money having lunch, tea and dinner and drinksss :D :D :D :D of course if anybody is there and want to drink something with me and my sister... wellcome :D

If you like chinese food, check out Toyo restaurant in Peterborough, and THE bar is a really nice bar. (well nice for Peterborough). There's a nice Italian restaurant next to the old cinema (can't remember name, sorry) and if you go to a village called Fotheringheay about 3 miles from Peterborough there is a pub/restaurant called the Falcon which serves amazing lovely food and wins lots and lots of awards for their food. Theres also dog racing in Peterborough which can be fun! :D

Thankssssssssssss N8 my uncle lives there and my parents were there last summer and they say is beautifull, I think I will like it pretty much, and to finish the visit a hole day and nigth in London.

Last time I stayed in St Christopher's Inn just South of the river at London Bridge on Friday night. It was basic but clean, which is more than can be said for some I have experienced, and its breakfast (none) was more appetising than what I have been served by some London hotels. On Saturday night we got changed in the toilets at the railway station, threw our bags into left luggage and went to Ministry. Our flight home wasn't until Sunday afternoon so we spent the morning bumming about Hyde Park, watching the changing of the guard, arguing with people in Speaker's Corner and jumping on random tube trains to see where they went.

as I have to cut off my nigth of friday in London cause my uncles would bring me to London saturday morning the hotel where I was staying cancelled my booking , one nigth in the weekend is not possible.
All cheap bed and breakfast in centre London are not available. I just owant a hotel that make it easy to go to Luton 6 in the morning.
even so is not so central where should I look???
Thanks

Agreed - stayed there three years ago and the best room the had available had a pre-fabricated bathroom that was akin to a 'superloo'!

hello
just another one of my questions, in the end we will probably stay in Earls Court,The Enterprise Hotel is located on Hogarth Road which is just off the Earls Court Road. We have to get a taxi from here to Luton at about 5 in the morning, anybody knows if is a short os long ride? I just cannot find this information, thankss :D :D

That's quite a long ride, about 40 miles i would guess. Luton airport is not actually in London at all, Luton is a seperate City to London. Would it not be easier to get a train to Luton? You'd need to use the http://www.thameslink.co.uk/ line from Kings Cross Station.

Ohhh sorry, I meant a taxi from the hotel To King Cross, not the hotel to Luton. Barbie dis advice me in the beginning of the post about the Thameslink from King Cross to Luton. Is just that I have such a mess with all the info, and I read somewhere that there is very far away the hotel from King Cross. What you think??? thanks

that's ok then, thanksss :D :D :D :D :D :D

Earls Court is West London and Kings X is North London so it's a bit of a trek but on a Sunday morning there won't be much on the road so it won't take too long.

One thing Mikkak, I'd check before you go that the Thameslink is running on Sunday cos they often do maintenance work on that line and Stansted Express line on Sundays so you have to get buses instead which take ages
