I am wondering what KM5 is like as I have never been. I was thinking of going there as you can eat there.
Is there an entrance cost, what is the food like how late is it open.
e.t.c
any opinions
thanx

there's is no entrance, food is excellent (even my parents are hooked), place closes around 4am.

check out their website www.km5-lounge.com and subscribe to the newsletter.

you'll love it

cheers,

I'm gonna check it out dfunky...you should too. Looks like a cool place to chill and have a nice meal. I know Barbie recommends it, and some others have too. 8)

Dfunky, the food is gorgeous at KM5, nicest meals I've had in Ibiza, a meal for 2 plus is around 80 euros. Service is excellent too. And when you've finished eating you can go chill in the garden.

Definitely worth a visit :D

The place is incredible.
Really intimate with loads of hammocks and lanterns.
I used to go quite a lot before they had the music license taken away. The locals used to say it was the best club on the island.
Rumour has it that they've got it back again this year but I think Underground will probably take the limelight.
The food is amazing - even the salads taste a bit special.
As usual not much stuff for vegetarians though
It's a really nice thing to do before going to somewhere like Pacha.
Enjoy!

Been to KM5 a few times. Argentenian food so lots of meat.

Try the cocktails, knock your head off! A great place for a meal, and a chillout in the tents afterwards. A must do!

Km5

KM5 really is the gnads

Last year it was our de facto office, we were staying in a villa nearby. Only prob was we wanted to start the evening there with bevs around 9-10pm before we went out . Course that's brekkie time in Ibz. And drinks are €€€$$$. But it's still worth it. Food was superb too. Very international crowd, few Brits. Sort of place where you socialise with Argentinians, madrileños and IBIZANS instead of geezers and gurners.

Cheers for that
I'd heard previously that it was good
We are gonna go there for a nice meal and an early night.
I understand now why its called km5

what other words have you found on the *beep* list even had trouble with paul van d y k e

hey guys & board gurus,

can I use some of these rave reviews about our food on the KM5 website (no names, just some quotes with a link to the ibiza-spotlight forum)?

cheers,
pawa

Hi while you are there Pawa
Can I ask, we are hoping to get to KM5 for our first time on Tues 25th june. This is when we have decided to go but plans may change.
Would i need to book a table in advance, I don't know how busy it gets
We would probably be looking to eat at about 8-9:00pm
thanx

Hi dfunky,

i wish i was there, at the moment i'm counting the days on my calendar (i'll be there from the 15th of june... )
Yes, the restaurant can get quite busy, although 8-9 pm is generally considered as very early over there.

I suggest you make a reservation by phone or email to be sure.
email = info@km5-lounge.com tel. & fax +34 971 39 63 49 or direct number of restaurant (ask for Jimena) +34 696 25 51 00.

If we run into each other on the 25th, we'll have a hierbas together!

cheers,
pawa
