I remember that film "Kids".

It Chloe Svengly and a young Rosario Dawson in it.

Brutal film, but good.

The ending was superb. Film made me think I had a rather sheltered childhood!!

If you liked "Kids", you should check out "Bully". Same director, still brutal, Nick Stahl and Bijou Phillips are in it.

"Bully" is quite good, but don't see "Ken Park" from the same director! It's crap ;) .

I saw "Sideways" on the other day, exellent movie if you ask me.

anyone seen that "crouching tiger-esque" movie HERO?

I wanna see it, just wondering if it was any good.

It is absolutely fantastic, but if you can see if you can find a cinema somewhere that is showing it because to appreciate it fully you really need to see it on a big screen.

The director also released another film at Christmas 'House of Flying Daggers' which I haven't seen yet, but am informed is also excellent.

yeah seen ''house of.....'' it is good but maybe 20 minutes too long the final fight scene is rather stupid cos they fight for a whole year without stopping

I loved Layer Cake, Daniel Craig is a quality actor. Not sure about him being the next bond tho.

You're joking right? I've heard better dialogue in dramarama and seen the extras in cell block H act better 8O

Good recent films:

Club Dread -hilarious
Anchor Man - funny
Man on Fire - quality drama
Sex lives of the potato men - funny
Butterfly effect - mental
Dead mans shoes - unsettingly realsitic
The Manson family - in a word 'snuff'

Don't watch the manson family on acid

I watched Dead man's shoes and then The Manson family afterwards when i was ill and bored.

I felt like i needed therapy afterwards.

that to happen"

Which bit? Daniel Craig comment or my choice of films.

Daniel craig /layer cakes i'll stand by.

Considering theres not been many decent flicks of late i'd say they're the best of the bunch out now... could tell you what not to watch. Easier
