when 3 people in a studio turn into 1, and your boss finds out you're updating your CV?

had "words" with him since and he aint put my fears about the lack of work to rest at all.

i'm with robder!:?

qué??:? :?

i thought you were the boss anyway.

lol

sorry, had to rush that post out cos i got all excited in a rodber scale, i just ended up not making any sense at all.

Im not THE boss... I am superceeded by the almighty one...

anyway...

there were designers (inc me).... the useless one has left (hurrah), but the useful one has also handed in her notice. so.... theres muggins left with 2 workloads in 4 weeks time, unless we find someone to replace her...

basically it feels like a sinking ship... esp when i found out THE BOSS is planning to expand his "other business", and for someone who "has a passion" for design, he spends half his time in this office sorting crap out for the other place, which went all wrong cos some fat cow defrauded him, and now he;s trying to recoup his losses...

because of this , its making me nervous as to if this place will still be here in 6 months time... so i thought id better get the CV up to date, incase it did go belly up...

only this lunchtime, he went on my comp to open a file, and he used the "RECENT FILES" menu and saw my CV....:spank:

i found out cos, he sent me an emailing asking if there was anything he should know...

How difficult is it to find a new job in your area of expertise? If not that difficult, then I'd wait some time and see how it goes with your current employer. If it takes a long time to find a new job, then no harm in starting looking already.

As for the explanation to your boss, I'd just say you were updating your CV because you were afraid you might forget it later.
