What character TERRIFIED you out of your little wits?

I'm With Beckiboo on this one - not liked clowns since IT and Poltergeist when the clown toy grabs him from under the bed!! eeeeekkkkk!!!

Daleks, Cyber Men, the killer dwarf in 'Don't Look Now' and the women in the movie 'Whatever happened to Baby Jane?'

Oooh the killer dwarf - forgot about that - shocker of an ending in that film!!

(actually been frightened of "old lady dwarfs" too since then....   )

Dick Turpin, he didn't scare me but I had to hide behind the sofa every time he came on because I went red with embarrassament because I had a thing for him  He still is a bit of a sort, well in the photo

Hehe found this in my search for the thunderbirds....

I was scared of the alien at the end of close encounters of the 3rd kind I would watch the whole film then hide behind the settee when the alien came out, I hated the melody that came from the spaceship I was also scared of the hulk and the music from Tales of the Unexpected

I saw a horror movie with midgets killing people when I was a kid. I would run crying anytime I saw one:oops: My older sister thought it was ok for me to watch it.

I remember seeing Jaws for the first time in the theater (first movie I remember seeing in the cinema, actually). I spent large parts of the film hiding behind the seat!

See this is what I'm talking about.. a meaningful, constructive and educational thread

I love the way children hide behind things as if they think what they can't see can't hurt them. I was scared of a fair ride in fantazialand (I think) Hamburg when I was 3 it had a big dragon on it. I wouldn't stop and have my picture taken even though I was about 50 feet away  I hid behind my mum they had to position me so that I couldn't see the ride , I remember it so well it was terrifying

Mr Bronson in Grange Hill
JR
Dick Dastardly in the Wacky Races
Skeletor
the witch with the glaswegian accent in rentaghost

i used to be terrified of:

a) The Blind people who were in TV version of "The Day of the Triffids", espcially when they surrounded the car and banged on the window.

b) Also the scary dudes in the Charlton heston film "the Omega Man" (early version of I Am Legend)

But the ****er who freaks me out even now, is that bloke from the Burger King adverts with the huge papier mache king's head who appears from the bushes, very creepy.

+1

he is the Devil's Ronald McDonald, it puzzles me how anyone came up with the idea. This will sell more burgers - the man/king with the grotesque inanimate head
