What book are you reading?

Synchronicity- I read 'Smashed' too and thought it was really good. That girl is from a town close to me..

The Da Vinci Code is as good as advertised, but I think Angels and Demons was even better.

Currently I'm reading Kite Runner, which is a tale of two boys coming of age in Afghanistan.. so far, so good..

Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown :D It really is as good as the reviews about it.

Great book...after u finish reading it check out www.danbrown.com , but only after...
Angels and Demons by Dan Brown is also great!

yep, that's next on my list, whsmith doing 3 4 2 at the moment with the other 2 titles, might just as well get the collection!

i just finished reading trainspotting and have to start porno

i would recommend "around ireland with a fridge" by tony hawks

funniest book ive ever read, was in tears of laughter on the train reading it

Havock Junction - by someone I have never heard of.... set in remote Scotland about gypsy/witch curses but set in today. Interesting but not the most riveting book I have ever read....

Da Vinci Code for me too.

Talking of Junctions, anyone read Stone Junction by Jim Dodge? Excellent, even though by the end I had no idea what it was about.

Down and Out in London And Paris by George Orwell.

Finished on Friday. It was excellent.

Also recently finished Hells Angels by HS Thompson. It was rubbish.

At the moment I'm reading The Green Mile by Stephen King. OMG it is sooo good! Much better than the film :P

Wrong. The movie is always better than the book. The reason? It gets done in an hour and a half and there's usually naked people in movies. Fuch the art of writing; art is dead, entertain me!

You've obviously never watched Green Mile the film then because if you had you would know it's about 4 hours long and has no naked people in it. Ner!

If you haven't read Glue or Filth by Welsh I highly recommend them. If you liked Trainspotting you'll like Glue. Filth gets more into the sicker side of Welsh's mind but it is a great book...probably my favorite of his collection.

Ive read Trainspotting and Porno, both brilliant books. I started reading Filth but gave it up a few pages in. Is it me or was that book just about a policeman who sh1ts all day every day :?: :?

she's quite hot, isn't she? 8) 8)

I might send her an email after, sympathising with her plight etc etc... ;) 8) 8O 8)

To be honest it's not my usual sort of thing - I prefer more "literary" books.....but I thought the subject matter was of interest...

Mad Dog - Its a thing about Johnny Adair and the UVF, the other side to the irish trouble, you only really heard about the IRA here.
