What beach is this?

I think there was a thread some time ago regarding old photos and postcards of Ibiza.
I came across this one in my local Spa shop - still for sale on the postcard rack! I imagine anyone deciding to visit the beach based on this might get a bit disorientated when they get there.
I guess someone will easily recognise it but I'd be interested in what year they think it is - probably pre dates most of the forum users! - there's no clue on the postcard.

It is Cala Vadella. No idea of the date but agree it looks like 60s or early 70s.
Still a nice beach. There is a rumour that the road that currently runs beside the beach is going to be diverted behind the beachside restaurant/shops and through a tunnel no less.

try this facebook group for some fascinating photos of how things were

Am liking that Facebook group.
Does anybody know of any other sites that have pictures of Ibiza from the last 30 years or so? I find it quite interesting to see what things used to look like when the island was much less commercialised.

I notice you are going to be staying at Hotel Ses Savines, you may be interested to know that they have a lounge room there that doubles as a photographic exhibition.
It has walls covered in pictures of the hotel and local area, including very early ones of the first incarnation of the place, circa 1935. Great stuff if you are into that sort of thing.

Stayed there a couple of times before but never noticed any pictures, probably due to being in a comotose state for the entire time I was there. I'll pay extra attention next time.

Has anyone looked at the videos on that facebook group?
There is one '1969 Cala Vadella' but it does'nt contain too much.
Another, 'Eivissa 1973' is just marvellous 8)

Quality! Wall to wall hippies! Looked pretty chilled in the 70's, would be cool to go back in time for just one day.
