What are you mean to be doing right now??

I'm going to university as well in a minute, we can talk all student stuff tomorrow like drinking pints and helping boys and errr whatever else you're meant to do as a student

I popped into the student bar last night to check it out before class and was quite tempted to stay there all evening to perv on young men and drink cheap beer.

Brilliant!!!!! - we had a load of young Uni graduates in at work last month potentially looking for Graduate Placements with the company and I swear I have never felt so old in my life - I was perving over boys that looked soooo young - I felt so wrong and dirty (not that there is anything wrong with that in its rightful place) but I felt like those women you read about in Chat magazine that cop off with their sons best friends....

  Take a Break and Love It are particularly fond of that kind of sleazy tale if you're ever looking to sell your story.

I'm always looking at blokes on the street/on the tube etc and thinking "He's fit" then realising they're about 19. Perfectly normal I'm sure!

Maybe its a kind of mid-life crises or something....... I just kept thinking, phwoar!! then oh god I could be your mum - wrong wrong wrong!!!!

My little brother's friends are just turning 18 this school year. I must say it's most strange when you see all his friends popping into our house. These strapping young men who I always remembered as squeaky voiced little brats a few years ago! 8O

so are you still working then or is this linked to your job??

I'm still at work, they're paying for me to do the course part time. Class time is one evening a week and a couple of daytime workshops a term. It takes two years for the Diploma, then I've got the option to carry on and make it a Masters.

Bec, I think I should go and visit my little brother at University and check out his friends.

btw - i think this is about the only 'normal' conversation we've ever had. sorry, i don't know what came over me!
