Godskitchen Underground - as always with Godskitchen releases it is peak-time, 4am, monster tech house/electro/tech trance tunes. A couple of good remixes of some classic productions, most notably 'Not Exactly,' 'Meet Her At The Love Parade' and 'Ariel' (i think) by A9.
I have been noticing the trend recently for a more minimal style with this type of music, which imo translates well to the dancefloor, but not neccesarily the living room or car. It seems a more 'serious' style of music which i do usually prefer, but when listening to this type of album, i want huge, overblown production and big, anthemic type tunes, rather than a big breakdown which then drops into not much more than a beat, bass and percussion. Maybe i'm being a fussy sod, maybe i'm not listening hard enough?
Anyone with comments?
