Ah when I say home made, I meant home made but not by me, and I only had a slice of pie with the salad and a small portion of potatoes...

The fruit salad keeps me going all afternoon too ........

sorry just had visions of walking into any random staff kitchen in britian and seeing someone cooking up a hot dinner (oven gloves and all)!!

ha ha ha - we actually have a restaurant/delicatessen here at work with loads of really gorgeous food and nibbles to choose from, home made soups, pies, cakes, sandwiches, etc., bit expensive but fab quality...... and really quite healthy too - she doesnt really do stodgy, really bad for you type food that some work's canteens do.....

What kind of dressing would you put with jamon serrano? I always took some from the hotel buffet but never in a sandwich. It was good on the side or part of a salad.

Never put dressing to jamon serrano, if it's good it doesn't need it.

In a sandwich best way is spread a tomato in the bread, a bit of olive oil, a bit of salt and the jamon
