it's porto sale on c/castelar in ibiza town quite close to the old market and ramp up to dalt vila

YES

That's the place.:)

Just got back from Ibiza and I think the best tapas bar in Ibiza is Bar La bodega next to the entrance to Dalt Villa, it's lovely inside - a huge archway, and it's amazingly cheap, especially for Ibiza. We had the black pudding (morcilla), and some chorizo sausages and they were gorgeous

8)Tonight I am going to either El Zaguan or Bar La bodega - following recommendations from here - we shall see, I will get back to you

We always drive into Santa Gertrudis and have lunch at Bar Costa. It's mentioned in every guide book, lovely tapas and it's like a little art gallery inside.

La Bodega is now officially my favorite tapas bar on Ibiza :)

we could not get a table last thursday so went to one passed all the bars in the town passed bar mambo etc around the corner and then a left passed the japaneese one. lovely food but very small!

Couldn't find Porto Sale but La Bodega was fantastic. My Spanish gf said the battered calimari was some of the best she has had...cheers for the great recommendation guys!
