What an exciting day!!!

So far I have set fire to 3 oil drums containing water and petrol, a pile of paper and wood. I had to don a fashionable all in one red boilersuit, fcuk off goggles and gloves and us several different kinds of fire extinguishers in the process of putting out the fires (the CO2 extinguisher was a bit scary when the Fireman said "DONT TOUCH THE NOZZLE" - or your hands will freeze and stick to it 8O 8O 8O ) Also had to watch the 1985 Bradford Football Club fire disaster on "how fire spreads in such a short time - quite horrible and disturbing and also very very sad to watch..:( :( :(

I did get a certificate and a Fire Wardens jacket and get paid a fee yearly for performing this task.....8)

This pm, I sat and covered switchboard for 40 mins as the Receptionist here fainted and knocked herself out.

Then I have just had a massage .......

.... just finishing my full days work now then off home....

Who said being a PA was a boring job.......:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
aye but everytime theres a fire drill you'll be busy instead of standing with the smokers enjoying your 20 minute reprieve!

ah but I am an ex-smoker of 4 weeks now8) and it doesnt bother me anymore, besides, too busy chatting to the fit firemen when they turn up if I am entirely honest....:lol: :lol: :lol:

Its quite worrying how setting things alight gives you such a great feeling - I am worrying in case I am verging on pyromania..8O 8O :? :? :lol: :lol:

That is curious, isn't it? It's as though the excitement of our long-ago ancestors' first experiences with fire (mmm... this mammoth meat tastes a lot better cooked!) are genetically encoded in our psyches! :lol:

No wonder the gods gave Prometheus a right spanking for passing on the secret!

Weirdly coincidental tho - we were talking about greek mythology, the Titans and prometheus with his renewing liver only yesterday....:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I wish I had fast liver-regeneration power... I'm pretty positive I can actually feel my liver begging for help these days :lol:

As for fire, there is a very fine line between normal fascination and pyromaniac (well, maybe not a line... more like 8 liters of petrol)
