Urbis is good, I have only been to Manchester twice and the first time it had an exhibition of the work of Peter Saville (who designed the Hacienda posters and New Order record sleeves amongst other things) and the second there was a rock photography exhibition prominently featuring Queen.

Saw Anthony Wilson on a tv interview last night,not looking too good.Can anyone shed any light on this or am I remembering him thru "rose coloured specs"?

Just a genius guy.

I have seen him speak on a few occasions from everything from music to palestine to economics & his breadth of knowledge can be astonishing. I have seen him hold his own with the UN ambassador to kosovo on ethnic cleansing.

but even if he was an unintresting mongo, his contribution to pop culture can not be underestimated.

unrelated to that tho, the drugs he is on to (hopefully) put him in remission are not available on the NHS. So whilst we send people for t1t jobs on the taxpayer his friends have to chip in for his treatments.:spank:

they did 2 songs basically. First was "wrote for luck" which appeared on "bummed" and then they remixed it added a bit of a beat and called it "WFL"
