well, it was a great holiday until...

thats dreadful

i always case out a room LagunaBeachCA style... apart from the safe, i check for other places to stash important things...

on a sidenote, do the Bossa Mar apts have safes in the rooms?

yeah now in hindsight, I should have done that..

i guess though. knowing that someone basically walked into that room with a key, knowing ourt schedule of never coming home until at leat 7:00 am, they had all the time in the world to grab what they wanted.

now I even wonder if someone had been in there before and had time to come back and get what they wanted... :?

Its just so creepy to know that someone was messing about with my things...

and all my photos are gone too.... bla!

really really sorry to hear that meryl, hope you get things sorted

thieves really are scum of the earth, bastards!

Glad the rest of the trip was fun though at least!

Did they steal that too?

(apologies again for flailing on promised loaner phone. must drink less :spank:)

ha ha.. no I had that one on me...

guess I can just keep it for next year!!

yeah I was pissed off yesterday... but today I'm even more pissed off... combination of the robbery, holiday over and that post-ibiza-holiday-depressive-feeling!! :spank:

Sorry to hear this news :(

I think everyone on here should make a point of providing a link to this thread if anyone ever asks about the Bon Sol apartments.

Thanks, I will most definitely be writing a review and writing to the booking people here at spotlight.

Absolutely dreadful security

This sounds like exactly the same as what happened to me utag...

No forced entry, no baloncy access, close to leaving, took EVERYTHING, yet left passports, everything is exactly the same. We thought it was an inside job, challenged the guy and he seemed very guilty. Anyway, c'est la vie unfortunately, I feel for you.

The only thing to say to console is that we got everything ( and a lot more ) back on insurance, and my friend even appeared in the center pages of the Daily Mail for having such a good insurance pay out. I know you say you only have a work one but so has my friend and it was great.

Hope it all works out okay.

Sorry, failed to mention that. No it was not the Bon Sol. Hotel Marco Polo II. Just saying that I would imagine this is a regular set thing they do amongst all the hotels and then laugh amongst themselves about it. Scumbags. You know your in a good hotel when the first thing the receptionist asks you is if you would like any drugs...GREAT.

inside job me thinks

had a similar experiance at caribe locked my goodies in a suitcase psp sunglasses ipod etc etc someone (maid) alledgedy forced damaged lock and suitcase theiving fkin scum:evil:

i spent quite a bit of time before i booked looking through lots of hotel reviews -- i had been planning on staying at jet apts or bossa mar, but almost every other review i read included a mention of having someone break in and steal everything. seemed quite shady to me. i can't remember if it was on spotlight or possibly tripadvisor; maybe both.

what a "nice" way to end a brilliant ibiza holiday! gutted for you meryl!

very nice meeting ya! :D

i know how u must be feeling i also got robbed while i was over there. mine was on the last day when we had been kicked out of the room i went down stairs to the comunal area and fell asleep was pretty out of it as went down at half eleven and only woke up again at 4 to find my trainers and my gold chain had gone. the trainers didnt bother me it was the chain my nan had got it me for my 18th so cant replace it. also cant get anything back off the insurance because they said i wasnt mugged for the chain or come to any physical harm it wasnt covered in the policy. theiving scum i say.

Yes

Sorry to hear about peoples bad news. It hasn't happened to me for a while, but I've been through a similar experience.

I think thats the chap, he was acting very strangely and lots of people seemed to want him for something....

Mind you he's easy to find as that picture makes him look about 8ft tall, either that or someone has had to lift him up as the bling has been too heavy for him to stand for long periods.

Thats the uncoolest gold chain I've seen for a while in my view,I'm sure it cost zillions but it just goes to show even with all the money in the world theres no accounting for good taste..... :)

Sorry 2 hear so many people get robbed. I have been lucky so far. I think people just pray on tourist a shame that is.
