I was there too....the crowd was great.....pity about the result though.
Henry did nothing for the whole game and then one moment of brilliance!

Im not sure......we threw it away with the two games against israel where we didnt hold on to our leads.
Two wins (away to Cyprus and home against Switzerland) and we should make the play offs but thats going to be tough.
If we did make the play offs, it would be interesting if we ended up playing England!!

Not sure about that......I rate England highly and pretty sure they will get through......they needed a wake up call and have gotten it now.
True, Sven lacks the passion that is needed but I still think England are a good bet for the World Cup.
Rep of ireland lacking a bit of the passion that we have had in the past and I think any game between ROI (with a full team) and England would be very close.
 
We SHOULD make the playoffs but then again the Swiss are becoming a bit or a bogey team for us lately.... and like you said, even if we do it won't be easy....
Wednesdays atmosphere was the best in ages and it would be such a shame for us not to get there... why is it always the competitions which are close by that we never qualify for???
 
That is so true.....I was (am) so looking forward to going to Germany.
If we do get there it will be interesting to see what happens with tickets. The demand will be huge. I get tickets for all the games (home and away) and go to most of them so would be very disappointed if I didnt get an allocation from the FAI.
 
I know what you mean - I've been to all the home games in the last couple of years including some of those terrible friendly games we're forced to go through so it would be great to get an allocation.
Would love to go to Germany.... am gonna hold off on putting the deposite down on the camper van just for now!!

It would be amazing (not to mention an absolute miracle) if we were to qualify.
