'Welcome to Ibiza' signage?

I'm heading over for my second trip this summer and was told there is an official 'Ibiza' sign outside the airport somewhere? Can anyone confirm this as I would like to get a picture stood by it.

If you mean the iconic "eivissa" sign on the side of the airport it has been taken down
They had works on the outer building a few years ago and never replaced it and as such have no plans to
Not sure if there is another one but this was the sign everyone used to have a pic with.

they were still working on the airport a couple of weeks ago when I was there and I am afraid there was no sign of the sign

there WAS the worldfamous iconic IBIZA EIVISSA-sign -
but it´s obviously now lost without a trace forever because of the unlimited stupidity
of some people which makes you speechless ...

according to some people working at the airport there is hoping our beloved sign will be back once the works are finished.

i would love to see the old original sign being put back, but i think probably they'll come up with something new. at the moment, there is no sign at all and i'm sure it won't stay like that forever.

Who's knows, they could even become iconic in their own right for the new generation

not yet - was just at the airport today. but i've honestly asked myself the same question!

Still miss the old one .... these feel a bit ... well ... Barcelona or Paris more than Ibiza. Ah well.. must learn to appreciate modernity at some point I guess !

i reckon it looks pretty cool like others said, it'll be recognised world wide in no time! and how old will we be when it's next changed :S lol

I appreciate they felt the need to modernise, but the exterior as a whole doesn't look all that appealing.

true but in time it will be about recognition and the appearance won't be as big of an issue! 4 weeks to go and get to see it for real! seriously cant wait now!!! COME ON!

Does it matter all that much if the external parts of the airport don't look too appealing?
Can't say I go to Ibiza because of how the airport looks
