Leaving it quite late!! I'll start!

Friday, on the sauce at 5ish, 3 of us made our way to Hammersmith to see Ricky Gervais who was hillarious! More drinks up there, then got in a cab headed to London Bridge! Met Dave Spoon & Stuart of Streetlife Dj's, more drinks, then went to SE1 for Eddie Temple Morris' do, didn't stay long, then went to The End where Dave was playin for Chew The Fat, absolutely hammered!!

Sat, woke feeling shocking, went to the Spurs Arse game, less said about that the better!!

Went home & hardly moved for the rest of the Weekend!!

Fri: Domestic Goddess - Cooked an Indian meal from scratch for Phil - gorgeous!!

Sat: Phil up at 6.00am to get down to the match - although, I was not happy at being woken up at stupid o'clock :spank::spank:

Chilled most of the day, been an awful week at work - really busy so couldnt be arsed to do anything else except recharge....

Phil came home in a  mood, losing 1 - 0 went out for a few drinks - pubs were dead - so came home early.

Sun: another chill day reading papers and books..... lovely!

A very quiet weekend all in all...

Fri - bunts a load of cd, then went for local drinks with the Old man,

Sat - Suiteably disappointed with the predictable Spurs performance, then Dj'd round a mates housewarming party which was ACE :D, interspersed with a visit to Lost Society*

Sun - very little. 'Discovered' the idea of WWF (the wrsetling, not fussy animals) videos on youtube and haven't looked back since!

*Phill(ly) - was it you that was asking about the place? I can really give it a MASSIVE reccomendation :D:D:D. Probably the best new (to me) bar I've been to since, well, ever. I'm really rarely a 'bar' person, though as bars go, this place is pretty amazing.

A horrendous queue to get in means either a forced early start or luck with a bit of under the counter financial persuasion of the doorman ;)(the later of which secured our entry), but once inside the place is done out really well (and not as packed out as the queue would suggest, and getting adrink was very easy). And, without sounding like a townie, it was a real eye opener to see a place that has such an impressive girl/boy ratio! All these years of going to trendy musical do's in nightclubs kind of makes you assume all places have women about as common as a Northern Rock deposit, though I now realise that it's places like this that balances the london female population out!

All in all a great weekend!

Thursday - Went to the opening of a photography exhibit, then to a fancy restaurant for a reception for the artist. Met Dennis Hopper! 8) 8)

Friday - Came home from work, made dinner, accidentally dozed off and woke up in the middle of the night. Raced over to Club XIII for the Renaissance party where Marcus James was tearing the place up 8) From there to the grand reopening of Gazgolder and then to Garage for the morning session but didn't stay too long.

Saturday - Went out for dinner at a fancy Azerbaijani restaurant, then to the sports bar to watch Chelsea cheated of a win (Liverpool karma?). Home for a bit and then out to the grand opening of Justo Banya Dush, a new club located in a former Soviet VIP banya (sauna/bathhouse), where visiting DJ Mark Moore was spinning a house/techno/electro mix. From there over to Rai where Hed Kandi's Paul Wilkens was banging out all the cheesy house hits (but at least picking some interesting remixes).

Sunday - Stayed at home, watched 3 downloaded episodes of my newest TV show addiction Jericho, made a big pot of plov.

ps - FYI, the word s-w-a-n-k-y apparently gets redacted by the forum

Got ruined at a naff club in Soho on Friday (That's enough from you already morbyd)

...oh and trapped my finger in a door - ouch.

Sunday - as above.

only saw the highlights. no closing down, fibreglass running 40yards down the centre unchallenged.
First person I've run across (including all my UK friends) who calls him that besides me

Fiberglass in midfield and aluminium in goal!

(plus Khleb means bread in Russian, which the English spelling of Hleb's name reminds me of... though in reality he's Gleb in Russian)

im afraid if we dont get a run going, Jol's gone...

jol is gone anyway. Victim of Newcastle Syndrome (spend a bit of cash & then demand immediate parity with top 4 who have spent it every year since time eternal!):?

Daniel Levy lives in dream land. You need the level of investment this year, each year for a good stretch.

Actually, Darren Bent? Keep your money, you will do better!

Poor old Portly Paul just couldn't get his rather large frame in the way of it...

Fabregas ran rings round your whole midfield.

ECL looks a long way off now doesn't it? (it was yours in the summer if I remember correctly?)

Jurgen Klinsmann says he is not interested in managing Tottenham because they are too small and he wants to take charge at a Champions League club. (Daily Express)

I tell ya - I have been baiting Spurs fans on a multitude of different boards and its almost like this game was acceptance...acceptance that we are light years ahead of you and you are never ever going to beat us again! :)

famous last words.

;)

our time will come when it really matters!
