How was everybodys?

Friday was a quiet one for me, stayed in and cooked curry. Then watched Dirty Dancing 8) which happened to be on Five.

Saturday went up Lakeside but was rammed, not pleasant at all , only went to take some shoes back and then found out I couldnt return them as I didnt have the email confirmation :spank:, evening stayed in again (trying to save pennies) and watched Notting Hill. The bf said how he has had the most "gay" weekend ever watching the films we watched

Sunday was Mothers Day and was rather sunny so went for an unplanned walk up Southend Pier with ma and pa, stopped for a cream tea  then went home.

All in all a relaxing weekend. I have a wedding in Glasgow this weekend coming so will be rush, rush, rush :?

Not much as was getting over tonsillitis! Lots of ice cream was the only bonus.

Took kids to the park a couple of times. Got beaten up by them indoors.

Went to church Sunday morning as my little girl's christening coming up. Hallelujah.

Bumped into Helen Chamberlin over the Brentwood centre Sunday as there was a darts tournament over there. Lots of fat hairy men smoking and drink as people walked in to go swimming or gym. If anyone ever needed motivation, that was it.

Watched couple of films, Tropic Thunder and The Strangers. Was ok.

Is Helen Chamberlin the one from Soccer AM?

was pretty drunk pretty much from thursday pm till mon am. Highlights included a semi-date which ended cataclysmically at the lock tavern, followed by brief pitstops (ie drowned sorrows) at horse & groom and horsemeat at plastics, balearic saturday innings at the big chill bar followed by dinner with friends at tayyabs in whitechapel (an hour long queue!), sunday (quality) roast pork at big chill house, hoxton square sunday afternoon cider-drinking observer-reading sunbathing on grass, followed by turkish shish in some empty old st restaurant, washed down with spanish tapas and sangria at the old blue, followed by late knockings at the griffin and culminating in a trully execrable experience at the mother bar. Still have the shakes now

I am officially living a life of hibernation - nothing seems to motivate me to leave the house these evenings......

Fri: Phil worked on his business plan until yon time so I was in charge of the remote control, "the tin" and the wine bottle..... and watched Gardeners World about a French Gardener Patrick Blanc who designs vertical gardens - awesome stuff, then watched Pineapple Express - very funny stoner film

Sat: Gorgeous day so did gardening and pretended I had the vision of a french gardener.... clearly I didnt - but I felt fullfilled after 5hrs of sawing, digging, pruning, planting and watering..... collapsed on sofa in agony and watched We Own the Night....

I am hoping when the clocks go forward next weekend it might give me the motivation to get out and start to socialise again before my mates forget who I am and why they bother with me...:oops::oops: :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I went to my see my friend dj at Circuit @ Sosho on Saturday. It was a good night, not as busy as the last time I went to Circuit but that's a good thing! Once again I was impressed by dj Hector. I think he is my new favourite dj. It also helps that he's quite fit lol :)

No, nothing compared to the athlete that is The Power! The greatest ever British sportsman!

I wondered why The Machine was kissing her last week when he walked on.

Bet she has him for breakfast. The poor mite.

Looks like a nerdy, not so beaten up Ricky Hatton

oh well - everyone has different taste I suppose - maybe he's like a Clark Kent persona by day - raging love god by night -

Had a rather tame birthday weekend. Well, maybe not tame but no wilder than usual. Perhaps that's the downside of going out every weekend

Thursday - Big art gallery opening party, followed by a bit of random drinking out on the town.

Friday - Called in sick to work as I was still getting over the flu from earlier in the week. Lied in bed all day. Went to Blue Elephant for a nice Thai birthday dinner, then to Opera for a bit of karaoke (but realized I was losing my voice from all the coughing ), followed by short stop at a new bar called Bonnie & Clyde's, followed by a stop at a new club called DubClub (great underground techno club feel, but my crew wasn't as into it as I was and dragged me away :(). Went straight to Krysha - a bit early for afterhours but it was already full so we just stayed through.

Saturday - Got home just in time to get a call from the landlords saying they were coming for rent so had to run back out to the bank machine  Finally got to sleep at 11 and then had to get back up for football in the early evening. Damn those Spurs  Made a curry. Later, met up with a mate visiting for the weekend at a 1960s-themed party at KitchKock, then to Soho Rooms for a boogie.

Sunday - Another day spent in bed. Caught up on downloaded TV shows and watched Slumdog Millionaire.

Monday - Another sick day. Watched the movies Taken and Rachel Getting Married.

Gardening, beach walks, cycling instead of driving everywhere. Then out for a long lunch on Mother's day. Mild weekend. But have a busy one planned for this weekend!!
