Seen as no one else has started tis tread i may well as.

Friday - Stayed in up erly for 8.10am flight to Glasgow Prestwick

Saturday - Bus to airport, checked in, as per usual Ryanair late once again:roll:flight took off @ 9.20am,arrived in Glasgow about 11am, straight to the Toolboth bar @ Glasgow Cross one of my many watering holes in Glasgow, few beers, met up with some Celtic mhates, match tickets sorted (Lisbon Lions lower great seat:)) went on a pub crawl along the Gallowgate and London Road,Celtic fans as usual in fine voice, went to the game, not too bad atmosphere, poor away support from hertz, match itself was brilliant, couldn't have asked for more than a 5-0 win:D we destroyed the embra huns who left early :p, if we continue playing like that ill be delighted, im predicting a big result against Spartak on Wednesday.

Must mention the Singapore Bhoys i met,yes SINGAPORE now that is what i call staunch all the way to Glasgow from Singapore to see the Bhoys, they are staying a week so will catch the game again on Wednesday, lovely people, also the Holyhead Bhoys we met,7 hours on a train, fair play Lhads.

I reluctanly had to leave the pub to get to Prestwick airport for the 10.20pm flight home, nightmare,fu**in Ryanair cu*nts, delayed going over and delayed 3 HOURS going back, trying to get a logical reason as to why it was delayed is another thing,im seriously going out of my way not to fly this pathetic airline anymore even if ive to pay more elsewhere, they are the worst airline in the world:evil:

Got home @ 3am,some people came back to the apartment an hour later having been out clubbing,hi to the lovely Emma as well ;)

Sunday - Watched Dublin get beat by Kerry in the all Ireland semi final:cry: chilled out/done nothing.

Goals from Saturday

Well.. I did go to SW4.. nice to meet and see so many of you.. :)However sometime before the eric prydz set, some random I was talking to gave me something and from then on I felt crap.. thats why I ended up wandering off... at least I think I wandered off

Then , went to go home on Sunday, trains weren't running as they were supposed to, missed my flight and then had to pay 200 pounds to change it.. bla! not what I needed after all the other crap that happened.

Still had fun though at the festival..sorry to all for being so uncommunicative!! next year

Then I arrive back home and am just about to go to work.. boo!!!!

See you all next year! :)

Sectarian language, funny that i should've said that to some Rangers "fans" in Bridgeton as we walked back after the game, "up to our necks in fenian blood" one of the many crude chants:?

ANYWAY....

Funny you seen the Bourne Ultimatum last nite as so did i allbeit on my TV as my mate downloaded it, indeed it is a very good film allbeit a little too far fetched,i actually thought the Biurne Supremecy was better, wqonder if there's gonna be another one?:)

well, its right that you were upset at what was said to you
but then you do your case no good by reverting to their level as well...

....i doubt that there will be another Bourne film but its possible as the 2 sequels were completely original movies with no link to the books - there are 2 non-Ludlum books for Jason Bourne but i think its highly unlikely

i actually thought the Bourne Supremecy was better
Great movie... plus they drive by my office in the Moscow chase scene :D

Relatively tame weekend, both by my standards and I'm sure in comparison to our fellow Spotlighters who whooped it up at SW4, TDK and Notting Hill (Yes, I'm jealous ). Anyway...

Friday - The missus and I went out to dinner at the surprisingly decent outdoor restaurant a block from our apartment that we'd not bothered to try all summer. Went home afterwards as I'm still recovering from a flu-like virus.

Saturday - Went to SportLand to watch football. Then to a fancy Italian restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. Then to a bar for another friend's birthday party.

Sunday - Got up and edited the translated text for a charity foundation's English-language brochure (how socially responsible ). Then went to see Basement Jaxx in concert. WHAT A SHOW! :D :D :D Another contender for best concert of the year. So much fun, really. And the crowd was into it as well. Really great way to close out an otherwise quiet weekend :D

Was dicking around on the way home n smashed abit of my front tooth off so had to to the dentist n get it sorted . Then sat in the sun for the rest of saturday then SLEPT!

Sunday = TDK sunday night then Public Life after party but left pretty sharpish

They really bring the show, don't they? :D The vocalists were all crazy funny and while parts of the music were recorded/sequenced (as with many electronic music groups) there was enough live performance (2 percussionists, guitarist, DJ) to keep it interesting.

Quiet is a relative term, I suppose, but next weekend will see normal service resumed

Excellent weekend.:)

Friday eve nice spell in the local to prep for Saturdays Manchester Pride. Brilliant day, crowds 10 deep. A huge one with old friends & some new. My face book has some pics, if anyone is interested & wants to look let me know.

Sunday off to Formby to see the nice squirrels & beach. Realy nice and chilled out - very good hangover cure. Annoyed the missus slightly as I insisted on finding Stephen Gerrards house. An example of money not being able to buy taste if I ever did see. A £2 m Barrett home. Dont get me wrong, I'd have it if it came down to it.

Today, family day with the folks, bro, sis in law & 11 month nephew. Went to Wirral food and drink fest. Very impressive I have to say, tasted lots of cheeses etc & wet my lips for our trip to the Ludlow equivelent in a couple of weeks.

Only negative for the week was Wales not actually playing too badly yet getting well beaten by France in the rugger. Ominous for the next month or so.:?

Back home, about to load the ipod & get ready for what is going to be a crazy 4 days work.

Note to El Ste, good work on taking those Catalans out!

Large to say the least!!
Thursday, Rolling Stones at O2, cracking evening!
Friday, haircut, few pints in the White Horse, earlish night!!
Saturday, few pints in White Horse, dinner a De ceco, then Toolroom knights at Ministry, couldn't believe how busy it was!! Dave Spoon smashed it, played really well, then MK, and he never fails to deliver!!
Sunday, up far too early, had to get to SW4 to meet the StreetLife boys, had vip so free beer all day!! Cracking day, highlights, Dirty Pretty Things, 2 Many DJ's, Digitalism!! The Streets are lousy, couldn't believe they were the headliner!!
Monday, lunch in White Horse, then made the trip up to the Carnival, found a park, then headed up to Sancho Panza, hearimng the tail end of Ralph Lawsons' set, before wandering down to Good Times, where Norman J had the place going off!! Finished reasonably early, tucked into some Jerk Chicken, eventually found the car, and fought the traffic trying to get out of there!!
Boy, not feeling too clever today!!

Sat - went to London Zoo for 1st time in god knows how long... was too hot for most of the animals - as half of em were hiding (didnt see no bears)

PICS

Sun: watched in agony as the red half of manchester nicked all 3 points again...

Havem't done one of these in a while...

Friday - few drinks after work in our local, supposed to be taking it easy but managed to get drunk, AGAIN! Damn :(

Saturday - Up bright and early for SW4, feeling totally knackered so not in the best mood for a days clubbing lol. Had a brekkie then headed to Clapham to meet everyone in the pub for 11am.
Felt better after a few drinks then headed to the queue. For the second year running they opened an hour late...grrr! For the cost of the day you'd think they would at least open on time!
Saw Roger Sanchez who was a great warm up, he looked like he was having a great time up there, nice to see, had lots of fun dancing round in the sun. Saw half an hour of Plump dj's, they were good but not a huge fan of breakbeat so left there and headed to the Trance arena for Matt Hardwick. He played a good set but the sound system wasn't very good, it needed to be turned up!! Plus it was SOOOOOO HOT! You couldn't escape the heat anywhere, in or outside. I know I wanted the rain to end but this was like being on holiday, with no shade anywhere. The staff were giving out suncream to everyone because people were literally frying.
Left after Matt Hardwick to get some much needed fresh air, sat down and chilled for a bit, then headed to the Bedrock tent for Eirc Prydz, who played a blinding set, had the whole crowd rocking, much better than when he played at Global.
Next up was Sasha, who was ok, I dont think the kind of stuff he played suited the outdoor stage, but I enjoyed his set.
Last up was PVD, who played a boshing trance set to finish the night off.
Few drinks in the pub afterwards then resisted the urge to carry on at the Brixton afterparty.

Sunday - woke up not feeling too bad, had a pub roast and a few drinks then decided to drag my sorry a.rse to TDK. Me and Jon agreed if we went early we could leave early...lol famous last words! Got in there at 7pm and left at 4am (kind of early I guess). Had a good time in there, saw sets from Annie Mac, Caged Baby, and spent a lot of time in the Halo room which I thought was the best room in the whole place. The crowd was a mixture of Hoxton-ites, Trannies, Butch men, Boys with tails, Beautiful girls, and just regular clubbers, so there was always something to keep us amused ;) Only downside of the night was seeing a few fights kick off in there, including one guy get dragged outside and round a corner by two bouncers, god knows where they were taking him :( I've never seen anyone fighting in a house club, it was pretty disappointing.

Got home by 5am and collapsed in bed, slept more or less all day yesterday feeling rubbish, now struggling through my first day back at work - need a month off lol! :)

AMAZING weekend!

Friday: Down to london then out to 93 feet east for a friends party - was completely empty in there but good to catch up with people. Headed to trailer trash around 12.30. TT excellent as usual, decided it would be a good idea to go to redlight after that :? which we only stayed at for a couple of hours as it was full of weirdos (although probably including ourselves...) and men in suits presumably still out from work the previous evening... aquarium seems to pull an even worse crowd than departure where redlight was previously!

Saturday: Went to borough market and victoria park, played at the steam fair, had some beers in the pub. Back home for take out thai then headed out for a few drinks at hoxton bar and grill then onto bar music hall which was quite possibly the most hilarious night ever - as usual full of KERAZY CLUB KIDZ dressed up in their ridiculous outfits, but also saw jack and kelly osbourne, jared leto (he chatted up a couple of friends and was texting them all morning to get them to go to breakfast with him ), and piece de resistance - my friend amanda dragged a really wasted guy out of the club with Pete Doherty whilst I called an ambulance :lol::lol::lol:

After BMH went to Fabric - stayed until 5 or so so missed MANDYs set but thought claude von stroke was very good - nice bouncy stuff for a change.

Sunday: Up at midday to make big chill house for lunch, then stayed there all afternoon until the usual suspects turned up for drinks before TDK.

TDK review below from that other thread (plus toilet review):
Had an absolutely brilliant time at TDK! Agree with robder that mulletover was rubbish - martin buttrich was awful when I hoped he'd be good, very yawnsome.

Didn't go to trailer trash unfortunately..

Azuli terrace was amazing - except it got FAR too packed up there, we didn't bother staying for tiefschwarz as you couldn't move - took us about 20 minutes to slowly move through the space from one end to the other when we wanted to get out...

Locodice was fantastic, saw about an hour and a bit of his set but it was just too much of a sweatbox in there and getting quite uncomfortable despite my prime position spot on top of the crash barriers

Green velvet - absolutely brilliant 8)

Secret sundaze - v.good as usual

think that's all I did really - left around 6 to go to the toilet which was probably the worst one I'd been to due to it being fairly empty, but the music was some of the best I'd heard there actually. :Terry: to start with was excellent, love his sets always, hector was better than normal - sometimes he can be a bit boring and then jamie jones was superb as ever, definitely still my favorite london DJ.

After toilet after-afterparty then finally got home around 11 :?

feel surprisingly ok today after a mammoth big last blow out before my travels 8)8) (well, might go out next weekend but will try and be good - broke! :?)

Brilliant weekend - random as - but really good fun.

Turnmills was the best its been in ages, excellent crowd, really really friendly and up for it, huuuuge range of ages, AND room to dance shocker!!!

Spent most of the night flying between rooms and upstairs, met some great people, had a great old dance session - a little light stalking was undertaken;), and it was quite possibly one of the funniest and most entertaining nights out for a long long long time....

Was supposed to meet a friend there, who looked at one point like she wasnt going to turn up, so was told, just hang with us and you will be fine, which really meant hang around the DJ's (and possibly look like a jockey slut :lol:) so I declined the offer and went off and made some friends for the night, which was such a good plan....... they guys who took me under their wing until my mate finally turned up were fantastic and really entertaining...

Music did exactly what it said on the tin, but I loved it - a proper blast from the past.....

Looking forward to the next Clockwork Orange Reunion..... and stalking session 8)8)8)

Absolutlely brilliant bank holiday weekend to see the summer out in style-eee :D

Fri - the scousers were visiting FLT and staying with us so had plans for a few civilised wines and out for tapas with the rest of the Sexual crew :D Got vvv drunk, fell over a few times, woke up Saturday morning fully dressed with a dog on my head

Sat - still drunk but as SW4 is such a short day it's compulsary to have a rose breakfast which picked me up no end  Met the rest of the gang at a pub in Clapham at 11am, couple of quick drinks and then into the queue for SW4 - as per last year they're incapable of opening the gates on time so we had a 45 min wait while poor Ferd was nearly crying that he was missing his beloved Desyn ;) After the compulsary shots :spank: had a boogie in the sunshine to a bit of Sanchez (predictable as always but just what you need at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon in the sunshine :D). Kept Tom quiet with a bit of Matt Hardwick, then into Bedrock for Sander K and Eric who was just fantastic and who blatantly wants me and Rach  Sasha (good) and PVD (boshing 8O) finished the evening off before the night comes to an all abrupt end :spank: How on earth we all made it back to Ealing in one piece is anyone's guess, altho I do recommend a roll round White City Station :lol: Carried on back at ours with 'EVERTON':lol::lol: and collapsed in bed at 4am.

Sun - woke up feeling very very wrong but went round to Rob and Erin's for a yummy barbeque and lots of drinks which sorted me out no end :D

Mon - pub for when it opened and then headed to Carnival, quick stop off at Good Times but made our base at Sancho Panzo and spent the afternoon dancing in the sunshine with a bottle of wine in my hand to the likes of Yeke Yeke - perfect end to the weekend :D

Now just got up and got to pack a case and get on a plane 8O:lol:

What an absolutely thooper weekedn, though far far far too much alcohol was consumed over the space of 4 days, which is definitely not my specialist subject. :spank:

Out locally on Friday making a nuisance of myself in Bromley. Suddenly felt the urge to educate a few strangers on the wonders of house music and proper clubs as a charitable gesture to drag themselves out of their local townie hellhole! Went down well....

Saturday up for SW4! Ace day in the blazing sunshine, caught up with loads of old pals, musically rather non-descript aside from Sander K. Sanchez played his "Roger Sanchez Summer 2007" set, though such was his enthusiasm and little deck tricks I let him off;). All in all a smashing day out, and I didn't feel so raw about paying £45 for a ticket by the end of it! Carried on in typical fashion afterwards...EVERTON!

Sunday was treated to some gourmet barbecue action, and pretty much spent the whole day drinking and eating.

Monday - Carnival! Again, the few beers I took for the journey went down far too well and pretty much set me up for the rest of the day. Enjoyed plotting at Sancho Panzo, who did everything that was asked from them. Seemed to spend a long time mooching around looking for toilets and drinks and bumping into old friends. By the time it came to leave, having thought I was holding it together nicely, I was almost instantly uber-pissed, and felt like I had downed a bottle of vodka there and then! The journey home was an experience!

Much thanks to everyone who I met along the way for your company etc, though if you could all please delete my phone no's, as I'm now going into a minor clubbing hibernation!

Though roll on Prince tonight... ;)

Having read everyone else's reports I feel I only completed the 100m dash by just attending SW4 compared to the marathon that most had of all weekend drinking and dancing.
I thoroughly enjoyed SW4, it was brilliant to catch up with a a few new faces from here plus lot of people that I had been sat with 10 weeks earlier (listening to the soothsayers whistle of the wind as he beat people with a feathered brush) at Sarah's wedding in Ibiza. The weather was actually comparable but the Ibiza sand is better that what we had underfoot on Clapham common, it as like dancing on top of a giant chocolate sponge in front of the mainstage8O

The music for me was really good all day, as said previously Sanchez played a predictable set of summer tunes, caught the las part of Marco V and a bit of Matt Harwick which sounded good but it was just too hot in the tents to stay too long.Sander K and Pridz were both excellent (for me the best music of the day) then back to dance on the chocolate sponge now decorated with rubbish everywhere.I'm actually surprised there weren't any injuries because there were so many ripped up cans and bottles everywhere that people wer slipping all over the place, it made for some good dance moves watching this but actually could have been made a lot more pleasant with the inclusion of more bins:?:
I enjoyed Sasha,PVD was fine but I think Carl Cox has finished it off much better at past events? the 3 singers on with PVD were hilarious I thought, they sounded terrible, maybe the sound system although more like they were just plucked from a local Karaoke bar8O
By 9pm I was exhausted, my feel were killing me and I was ready for a lie down....that was the most noticeable difference for me of my clean clubbing experience vs the normal:o

All in all a brilliant day, with great music and a great crowd, there is something so much better about dancing in the sun that only the festival or Space terrace can deliver :-)

Fri - pie and mash at The Camel in Bethnal Green after an abortive trip to a terrible Italian restaurant. More boozing than intended before the next day's first footy game of the season.

Sat - First friendly of the season. 4-1 win and didn't feel as unfit as I thought I would. Got down to SW4 for the last couple of hours, then over to Gigalum (nee Oblivion) and then a pub round the corner until closing.

Sun - drinking around Brick Lane all day. Anyone know the 'Pride Of Spitalfields'? The chap behind the bar is a character of the most unrecontructed kind:lol:. Couple in the Vibe Bar, couple in the Big Chill, couple in the Commercial Tavern, couple in The Florist and another couple of places I can't remember. Just realised it was quite a session!

Monday - Local beers, followed by insomnia. Knackered today.

Got football training tonight and going to Arsenal tomorrow night - I need a rest!!!
