Fri: Chinese Meal with the parents and Phil - got hammered after the stress of "the interview" got home at 10.30 and we both promptly fell asleep on a sofa each.
Sat: mooched around with hangovers and an urge to eat more food (why does chinese food do that to you??? I ate my bodyweight the night before)
Went to see the parents off for their flight back to Cyprus
- came home then went to see a friend for a haircut.
Sun: Gardening all day - really bad hayfever but managed to persevere with cutting back the jungle that seems to have grown through all this rain whilst we were away......

Thursday: Drove down to Heathrow for our flight to Stockholm, sat in restaurant cafe thing and Joey pointed out that we were sat next to Damon Albarn, i dont know why but i couldnt stop staring at him . Flight was delayed as usual. Got chauffered to the hotel in a snazzy new BMW, i felt like royalty . Went and had a wander and tried to have a a sit down on the grass but Joeys hay fever started up so we got ready and went out for dinner in hotellet. Couldnt be bothered to stay out so said goodbye to Joey at the club and then went and collapsed back at hotel.
Friday: Woke up and had the best breakfast ever that goes on until 2pm which is fantastic!!. Had a wonder around with Ben (Buckley you know him) and showed him the wonderful sights of Stockholm and then went and got ready for dinner again. This time i decided to stay out and went to the club and drank my own body weight in champagne - BIG MISTAKE!!!.
Saturday: Woke up and felt like i was going to die!! managed to keep some breakfast down and picked up stone and left for airport. Arrived back at heathrow and made our way through London to our hotel, it took 2 hours to move 4 miles because of the roads being blocked off due to the Tour De France. Finally arrived at Malmaison and saw that Chris Ubank was in residence as his huge monster truck thing was sitting outside the building 
. Had room service and then passed out, apparently i was telling Joey to go away and leave me alone (i think he was lying) . Joey progressed onto Turnmills and i stayed in the hotel.
Sunday: Woke up nice and refreshed and went for dinner in Soho, trip to Oxford Street and then came back home after dropping stone back off at airport.

Friday: Down to london, grabbed a drink with a friend somewhere in maida vale (the grand union pub I think - what a lovely place, liked it a lot) and had some food there too.
Went on to a house warming party in bethnal green which ended up getting very messy although I managed to get myself to bed quite early
Saturday: Slept til god knows when, then spent the afternoon in victoria park feeding the ducks (who weren't hungry at all as there were about 20 loaves of bread already in the lake) and eating icecream.
Early night..
Sunday: Woke up at 5.30 to go to the toilet for kubicle's 2nd birthday party (sometimes I wonder at myself) which was great fun - good sets from all the residents, although damian lazarus guesting was a bit weird - played lots of random funky stuff which didn't really go in the toilet too well.. left around lunchtime to go to secret sundaze on the canvas roof terrace.
Secret sundaze was absolutely excellent! I had by far the best time I've ever had at SS, music was brilliant all day, and it was nicely full early on which was good - guess it was because the sun was out. Cobblestone jazz played a brilliant live set, with a man singing and tinkering on a keyboard and everything. Good to see buckley and dr mick there too.
After that I've was ill mon, tues and weds...

I had a killer weekend last week 
Thursday - CONCERT OF THE YEAR Talking about George Michael, of course.
Friday - Attended the 10th anniversary party of Moscow's alternative English-language weekly newspaper, the eXile. Good fun seeing various folks I don't see too often. Had a little spat with the missus afterwards
so I went to an Azerbaijani restaurant for a 3am snack, then popped over to afterhours club Mix which was already hopping at 4am because they were closing down last weekend
Saturday - Big day out for 07.07.07. Will post pics later but I went to:
- US Independence Day celebration at the historic Kuskovo estate on the edge of town. Largest such event outside the US.
- Sophie Ellis Bextor concert at a beach club on the river. Opening acts included Global Deejays and Polina Griffiths (formerly of A-Studio). Sopie is simply gorgeous. 'nuff said.
- A friend's birthday gathering at Krysha Mira (Roof of the World), without a doubt one of the coolest clubs anywhere.
- Final closing party for Mix, my favorite after-hours club ever If Friday night I was too depressed to enjoy myself at Mix, Saturday it felt more like a celebration of what Mix was. Familiar faces everywhere and even people you didn't know but often saw were starting conversations.
Sunday - Flew to the Russian Far East for business (just got back last night)
I've got tons of photos from Saturday, which I'll post at some point... really fun day.
