Weekend rundowns

shopping on saturday for new clothing for Laura's friends wedding - no shirt but nice shoes and tie -

Pushing the boundaries on the fashion front there Scott! Are you shaving your chest so your tie hangs flat on it too?

( )

if its hot i'm thinking no shirt

pinstripe suit and skinny grey tie - chest wig on show for all to scratch at

Friday - Went to see Carl Cox at the Stiff Kitten. He more than lived up to the hype and was well worth the £22. Really good crowd in too, with everyone really up for it and into the music. Also further proof that the smoking ban has been a resounding success, with the number of people crammed into the main room for Cox's set it would have been intolerable if they had been smoking too, as it was it was certainly hot and crammed, but not unbearable.

Saturday - After 5 hours sleep, got up to go and watch kids' football. Took an hour to get to the venue, 15 miles away, on account of two people who we asked for directions telling us to go left at roundabouts where we should have gone right. Got slightly sunburnt - reminder to keep slapping on the suncream when we head to warmer climes. Got home to discover our lodger was having a barbecue, so we slapped some bratwurst on and ate them with some sauerkraut and home made pretzels. Nice.

Sunday - Did some packing for Ibiza, bought a few things we still needed, worried about the club situation for a while, decided it wasn't worth getting too upset over, we will make the best of it one way or another.

Whacked out all the solo hits, including Carelees Whisper as the encore!
Careless Whisper was a Wham tune, Danny boy ;)
Glad you enjoyed the show. Totally looking forward to his visit next month :D

My weekend is still in progress (as my very upset stomach will testify to :?). Update tomorrow....

It was actually released as a George Michael Solo single first then included on a Wham album;)

In fairness, it was released in the States as Wham! Feat big George, though deep down I can still feel Johnny ripping some hair out in frustration at being WRONG! AGAIN ;)

On the contrary, my friend. Glad we can all be right on this one. ;)

Urrgh I feel like such an alcoholic at the moment!! Glad I have this week off work to recover

Friday - stayed round our friend's flat for the night, planned a night in with a few drinks and a take-away but ended up getting a bit minxy at finally got to sleep at 4.30am :?

Saturday - up at 9am to visit Jon's new little neice Goergina. Sooooo cute, made me feel very broody. His 2 month old nephew Louie was there too so I felt positively left out not to have a child lol. Spent all day drinking wine next to Canary Wharf to wet the babies head. Got home about 10pm feeling very drunk.

Sunday - up early again to catch the train to West London to meet the Sawyer's wedding party :D Good to see nothing much has changed, with the groom outside smoking joints and the bride spilling wine over herself, who said marriage makes you grow up eh? ;)
Left after another eight hours of drinking, got home feeling drunk AGAIN and now feel like poo :spank:

Fri - Sun :- Nothing of note.

Many congratulations Barbie & Tom. The photo's are fabulous. Even one with a wee child :)

Welcome to the married fogies club :)

Have a fantastic time in Ibiza.

Glorious weekend - FINALLY got Phil clothes shopping for the summer - no mean feat - I can tell you!!!!

Repaired my lawn again, gardened most of the day then played out with all the neighbours - first time ever since the tw*t's moved that this has happened - 5 sets of neighbours in one garden playing some random Swedish game which consisted of lobbing sticks at pieces of wood trying to knock them down and scoring points - great game made more fun due to the fact that Phil and I were clearly (to us) under the influence of some rightous herbs maaaaan - played out til 9.30 and drank beer too - was great!

Sunday - sat in the garden - made some Ibiza lists and burnt my face....

Grand Weekend -8)

Barbie - photos are lovely - welcome to the Mrs & Mr Club....8)

When did you move into Russ' neighbourhood?

Saturday: Got woke up by noisy people below us with the same r'n'b ****e at 9.30am so got up and practised being a wife to be and made breakfast and then woke Joey up and made him eat it . Boring grocery shopping (which i secretly love  ) and then went back to the first bridal shop to try on a dress i liked again, totally gone off it, finding the perfect dress is so hard  :spank:.

Pm Joey went down to The Cross for the suposedly last pukka up before they tear all of the clubs down, (where have we heard that before), i stayed home and ate chocolate and watched tv, couldnt face the sweatbox this time around.

Joey came home 7.30am and crawled into bed and i dragged him back out at 11am to go to my little brothers scout/cubs award presentation with my mom, baby ickle brother. Was a nice afternoon esp to be out with my mom who seems to be beating her 8 years of agrophobia.

A lovely chilled pre-ibiza weekend.

Like grego, still getting over saturday nights football... It was a rollercoaster, but it ended in a low

I think the Barca players have to take a good look at themselves, it is them who have failed, not the manager IMO. Betis also scored in the last minute a few weeks ago, they shouldve learnt from that.

Still i have some faith in Mallorca. They did after all produce Rafa Nadal!!!

Lovely to see the newly weds so happy yesterday too 8)
