Weekend Rundowns

I'll kick this off this week...



FRI

3 of us flew down to London, managed to get to the hotel around 4ish where our other friend met us there. Typical time wasting going on but we walked for ages to get food and eventually ended up in Chinatown and had a lovely lobster set meal 8O

after more messing about getting ready to go out 2 of us head to The Castle where the other 2 meet us up at nearly 12 :roll:. Head around to Turnmills, no problems with the guest list here (this will be explained later)

I've not been a big trance fan for years and i would say that it wasn't really trance that Van Buuren et al played - unsure how to describe it but it was cracking. After some nomadic flitting between rooms i found an inch on the dancefloor and stayed till just after 6


SAT

after the heady night previous, my brother managed to go shopping whilst we recovered. meeting up with him for lunch (again taking an age to find somewhere) where the service was shocking!

met up with a friend who lives in london and had a nice thai/fusion meal before getting out to Ministry of Sound. Now, i have a friend in high places ;) so we were guestlisted on for this too - get to the door and not on the list 8O8O8O8O8O8O

luckily i had my phone and could access the email i got confirming it - thanks to the thoroughly nice chap on the door we got in and vip'd up as well. went for drinks in the vip section (eerie seeing the box empty) and enjoyed the no measure pourings of Jack Daniels. Special note to Billy from California who was there on his lonesome and made good company.

around 1:30 head down to the Box for Sander Kleinenberg/Mathew Dekay - absolutely cracking night. top notch music and good atmosphere. with Barbies podium not being there i hazarded a guess as to the location of it and manned the spot until just after 7 when they seemed to want us to leave!

talked about getting back to the hotel, showered and changed and then onto Jaded at The End - never made it! :oops:

took an age to get home but finally here!
 
quiet one again this weekend..

fri nice chinese meal in ealing and lots of wine with bf
sat gym shopping and eurovision/wine evening at ours
sun bought new laptop and more wine (hic)

we are a club free zone till we hit ibiza in 2 weeks

Great weekend! Had a bit of everything: theater, fine dining, bars, clubs, live music, sports... only things missing were shopping and travel! :lol:

Friday - Went to see Stomp! at the Theater Operetta. Great show (though the seats were a bit further back than they looked on the chart when I bought them :?). If there's one thing I take away from Stomp!, it's that there's music all around us if you take the time to stop and listen. 8) Afterwards, we went around the corner to The Most, one of the ritziest new restaurants in town. By far the best dinner out we've had in ages :D

Dropped the missus at home, changed, and went to visit a new bar my friend recently opened. Then met another friend at Bar Seven --> went to the club Rai --> moved over to the club Dyagilev --> wrapped up the night at a club called Krysha, where the glass-enclosed rooftop dancefloor afforded us a wonderful view of sunrise over the city :D (after which the place totally went off! :lol:). Fun night.

Saturday - Got a scant few hours sleep, lazed around the house for a couple of hours, then headed out to Club Apelsin for Fun Lovin' Criminals :D Huey and company were solid as usual.

Dropped the missus off at home and met up with a mate at Chivas Bar. From there, we went to Rai where CeCe Peniston provided live vocals for a few songs including her classic "Finally" :D A strange sequence of events took us to Krysha, Opera and Dyagilev but none for any significant period of time until we finally ended up at a cafe called Sunrise, which was packed with clubbing casualties :lol: Parted company at that point and I headed over to Mix for afterhours.

Sunday - Woke up just in time to get to the sports bar at 6 for the football. Watched the EPL relegation battle unfold on multiple screens (followed by Chelsea v Everton on taped delay). Accomplished little else this evening :lol:
 
Fri - done fu*k all

Sat-Went up to Donegal & Derry for the day, some drinks and craic with some friends from there back later that nite.

Sun-Met a mate and watched the Man United v West Ham game, ive not seen a more one sided game all season, how Man United didn't win by 6/7 goals is beyond me but credit to West Ham they defended well and avoided relegation.
 
Week end

Stuck 2 my plans

Friday went to Jerez (fair) Feria. I picked up by some of my friends so I was free to drink. I had a great time dancing and drinking and eating the local food. finished @ 6 am

Saturday: Back to the fair to see a horse show @ 2PM very impressive the riders and Spanish horses. Went back home to take a nap. We went back to the Feria for a couple of hours. I took it slow too much drinking the night before. We left early around 2 am to go to a club stayed until 6 am.

Sunday: woke up around 3 pm feeling none 2 good met friends for seafood lunch @ Romerijo's best seafood rest. in city I live in. Left friends to go home and rest my weary body.
 
well I have nothing riveting to contribute.

was meant to go out with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while for drinks on Friday, but ended up feeling very ill for some reason.. so didn't do anything.

Saturday was a good friend's 30th, so out for nice dinner, drinks and some dancing.

Sunday was Mother's day here, so too my mum out for a veeeery expensive meal.. so told my dad to come too and then he offered to pay :lol:

Thats it. Boring old me.

How the hell Sheff Utd managed to get relegated is beyond belief!

A few sad faces at our workplace today.

Still, i'm tipping The Blades and The Owls for premiershiop promotion next season.
 
Friday: stayed in
Saturday: shopping marthon with my sis for my wedding dress but I didn't find anything I like. I also bought an original Lomo to Pep as an engaging present which he loved (http://www.lomography.com/). On the evening we went to Barça for the basketball game and had a nice dinner al fresco at my friend's new restaurant whit too many bloodymaries and beers :?
Sunday: woke up late and biked to the beach for our firsts hours of sun... but there was fog instead of sun 8O :? so we had a paella al fresco and then watched pep playing his last basketball game
 
Fri - out for tapas with Tom, then watched the mighty Forest move ever closer to League One Football next season :twisted:

Sat - grown up day of sorting out wedding flowers, finalising wedding menus, making Ibiza lists, planning Ibiza costumes, doing Ibiza fashion shows :lol: At night watched the Oakie DVD which is surprisingly really really good - one of the best clubbing type documentaries I've seen in a long while following Oakie @ Stamford Bridge :lol: Oakie in Ibiza and Oakie goes to Hollywood :lol:

Sun - finished wedding and Ibiza shopping, watched the last day of the Premiership (so glad whinging Warnock and Sheff Utd went down :twisted: ) and then wrote our wedding vows - EEEEK :D
 
Friday: Went to a mates for drinks and takeout and various drunken games.

Saturday: Haircut, a bit of shopping then down to london for a friends birthday party at a bar in chalk farm. Had a good night seeing all old uni friends and dancing to cheese (8O )

Sunday: Coffee with a long lost friend, then accidentally found myself in secretsundaze. Not quite sure how that happened. :spank:
 
Fri - nice dinner with my best mate, really good evening and got us even more in the mood for Ibiza then we already were reliving last years adventures

Sat - happened to speak to my friend who happened to be in town so went and met her for a bit of shopping (even though I am poor) still ended up buying a hot pink dress from the big P (well dress/top that you wear over leggings type thing), another flowery top, then some make up that I never heard of in Superdrug (GOSH) but was really nice. Dont know if anyone else seen this make?
Evening was out in Leigh on Sea for a friends b.day, started in some really poncey cocktail bar soon decided it wasnt our thing so went into Southend to the good old Wetherspoons :lol: the night then got very messy and more and more of our lot joined us girls and boys so we all trooped down to a local club. This was followed by a chinese, piggy backs, lots of messing around bascially and trying to walk home 8O Eventually got in about 430 (that is late for me!)

Sun - did absolutely nothing, weather was diabolical, slept as there was nothing better to do and watched the Eastenders omnibus!

i have also giscovered this i have a great pale pink lipgloss and lots of funky eyeshadow colours from here...... good choice and cheap as chips too!

Thats what I have the pale pink lipgloss and a waterproof eyeshadow, like a pastely one that you roll on
 
I didn't get up to that much other than spending all of Saturday in various pubs around Belfast. Woke up on Sunday morning and my clothes didn't stink of smoke. Wonderful. :D
 
Friday, few beers in the White Horse, curry, back home for Sir Alan on J Ross!!

Saturday, few afternoon drinks, home superchilled then went to This Is at Ministry, left about 2, went to the Cross for Type, heard SF last few tunes before Dave Spoon went on, then went back to Ministry!!

Sunday, White Hart Lane, saw the Mighty Spurs finish 5th, then had a cracking Italian in Fulham, before adjourning to the Sofa, knackered!!
 
weekend of mess. finally finished my part time degree, five years done, on friday.

Started off in Manchester northern qtr fri afternoon. Finished with a bit of kip in between on sunday morning.

bit of a blur really. good fun though i think. feel rough rough today.

Missus back from Russia last night, so quiet one in ;) :) .

going clean now until beefer in 2 1/2 weeks :lol:

Fri - Out all day getting more Ibiza bits and bobs..... :oops: :oops:
Phil out from work on a do - so nice quiet night in with little old me - chilling nicely.

Sat - horrible wet day - stayed in and did some tidying up - then went to see 28 Weeks Later......... Eeeek!!!

Sun - Did some gardening in the morning, watched football in the pm and then went out for a curry followed by an early night for first day back at work today..... which hasnt been too bad actually - still on a high after the knobs moved......:lol: :lol:
