Weekend Rundowns

I suppose it'll be quiet around here this Monday as our good friends in the UK have the day off. Might as well get this thread started!

Friday - Met a buddy for "a couple of beers" after work, which turned into getting some Korean food for dinner, drinking many more beers, and my friend turning $250 into almost $500 at a casino.

Saturday - Lazy day. Attended a friend's birthday party in the evening. Later attended a concert by another friend's rock band, followed by a UK group called Mad Staring Eyes.

Sunday - Got some household shopping done. Went to the pub for some football. Made it to the end of watching season 1 of Prison Break.
 
Friday: dinner and drinks with Pep's friends.
Saturday: visited few masias (traditional catalan farms) for our weedding, then went to see pep playing basketball but I ended having a too long coffee with MyMind (spanish regular spotlighter) and I only saw 5 minutes of the game :oops: At night footy, dinner, drinks and LC with friends
Sunday: more masias hunting and at the afternoon went to a friend's and spent the next 6 hours playing wii.
Today: My arm hurts
 
I'm here, still sat in my pj's on the sofa. :lol:
My weekend was rather boring, weather has been awful and I'm off the booze too! Lots of mooching around the house and eating out. That is all. :lol:
 
fri - quiet nite in front of the TV with a beer

sat - up early for the footie, you know you are a jakey when you are waiting for the pub to open! A few drinkies then onto a terrifically one sided OF game. Back to pub for a few more. Got home and drunkenly ate my dinner. Then out with the missus and in-laws for Maximo Park at the barras - cracking gig and some more booze.

sun - lauras friend's twins christening, i drove so only a quick beer. then a night with a curry and 24 + the ever baffling Lost.


mon - in work (booooooooooooo) - off on friday instead for London shenanigans
 
Fri - long drive to Madrid....lots of pit-stops on the way....straight to bed....very tired

Sat - lie-in, breakfast/lunch with friends....shopping in Madrid....I wanted everything but bought nothing....lots of photo snapping as its great playing tourist sometimes :D :D :D ...siesta....dinner....drinks....:D

Sun - lots of walking, eating, drinking....went to the game....great time....very late drive home :p

Mon - falling asleep at my desk
 
Busy weekend for me, DJing and sleeping;

Fri - Monty's - very busy, DMX lights been re-programmed, excellent now!!!
Sat - Decades - busier than expected, lots gone to God's Kitchen
Sun - Monty's - absolutely mental!!! What a gig!!! Thought I was playing Space Terrace for a while! :lol:

..........tonight Monty's again! Whoo Hoo! Bring it on! :lol:

Fri- Done nothing chilled at home

Sat - Met my mates and watched the football in the pub, they had the City v United game as the main one on the big screen as it "had more meaning" on the smaller TV i watched us getting humped 2-0 by the forces of darkness:cry: but i had a bet on United to beat City so that lifted my mood somewhat, stayed in the pub until 7pm stumbled home, watched Scarface on TV fell asleep.

Sun- Met my mates in the pub who were cheering on Arsenal, draw the outcome giving United the title so cheers all around, went home for a while and back out that nite, got very drunk and don't recall a great deal after 1.30am:oops::lol:

Mon- Chilling trying to shake off hangover, new job tomorrow.
 
Friday, went to sankeys in manchester for the first time - tribal sessions. Positives - nice terraced area, good sound system, booka shade were really really good live, friendly door staff. Negative - lost my mates for 3 hours and there were so so so many people in there (far to many, over crowded) that I did not find them till near the end, bit more 'glam' (sunglasses indoors, people there on the pull & nothing else, dancing round the handbag etc) than i hoped, really rude agro bloke who I assume was the promoter, being really nasty to his paid punters.

Sat, did not feel to bad & went up to the lake district for night. Spent it around camp fire on ullswater smoking jazz fags and drinking red wine. Heaven:)

Sun. saw my 7 yeard old nephew, officially the cutest kid in the whole wide world. Popped into liverpool for a late drink & back home.

Today - putting up ike wardrobe:x :spank:

part of me is tempted just to get a builder out and pay him.

Its an f'ing nightmare at the mo - keep looking for interesting posts to try and divert my attention from actually doing anything!
 
Well im doing a few hours at work today so boo hoo for me (mainly due to my inefficiency last week so own fault really)

Fri - Went out for work drinks. We get a £500 bar tab for the team first fri of every month and wasnt the best turnout so was pretty tanked and the tab was still going strong when I left. Then went to a mates bday pty in the west end. Standard / avg club playing avg music although bizarelly they were playing quite an techy sounding set when i got there but didnt last for long. Good seeing old faces and being hammered.

Sat - Went out for some drinks with school mates around brick lane. Curry and then just sitting in the ouside area at vibe bar reminiscing

Sun - went to Secret Sundaze at Canvass. Was on a "secret" roof terrace on the top which I didnt know even existed. Although weather was avg was overall a great day out. Cool n friendly crowd although a little too crowded.
Funniest bit was bumping into a manager from work who was clearly off his nut and got really worried when I pointed that out. Had to tell him not to worry and then joined him in the messiness! :)

Today - work, then got to go to the flat to check on the builder and then spurs charlton in the eve
 
Fri - out in Southend with my old work lot for a few drinks, debated whether to have one and drive but in the end I got sucked in (doesnt take much to bend my arm) then went to a nice little cocktail bar thats hidden away that plays a nice bit of house music with my guy mates who came to rescue me :)

Sat - rushed about doing errands during the day, met my ex who is still a good friend and had to be a shoulder to cry on for him :? then met a friend for a few ciders which was nice. Then back out again in the evening with my best girly pal for a few wines and a sneaky chinese on the way back. We have decided after a few vinos that we really want to live together and do the whole girly pad thing!

Sun - dossed all day, didnt get dressed until about 6 :) Then went to cinema in evening to see "this is england" very unusual but powerful film

Mon (today) - did nothing all day, very bored, started to do some spring cleaning and broke my bed in the process. Going to finish my boring day off with a nice curry!
 
friday - didnt get back from work till late, so stayed in:(
saturday - bbq at james family. got hideously drunk on wine with his mum and sister!!! fabulous, not had wine for 3 months! 8O
sunday - went to kew gardens had nice lunch in posh restaurant near the station. have decided i want to move there.:idea:
monday - shopping in oxford street for more ibiza outfits - only three more weekends to go.....!!! and outfit planning with my friend in the evening hurrah!:p
