friday -stayed in

saturday - birthday drinks in south ealing

sunday - meeting with Primark - got contract to work for them freelance so was worth the enforced sensibility on Saturday night - when everyone else went off to The End I went home!

Friday - Drinks with some mates in the local.

Saturday - Few beers watching the football with my United supporting mate, home to chill.

Sunday - Watch Celtic win the league live on TV :D lounge about the rest of the day and interact with other Tims online.8)

Where in South Ealing ddi you go SpaceMonkey? thats my neck of the woods. ;)

Fri - Travelled to Liverpool AGAIN! so over that journey this month. Anyway stressful stuff as had a leak in our apartment and the ceiling has fallen in! Spent the day dealing with insurance people. Needed a few drinks after that so we went for Drinks/dinner at the Malmaison followed by getting very drunk in BabyCream.

Sat - Went out for a long walk along the Docks and a ferry ride with my family.  I know I'm bias as it's my home City but WOW the skyline is looking amazing esp with all the sky scrapper new builds and new Arena. Sat night Curry and babysitting for my Brothers girls.

Sun - Family pub lunch for my Nephews 1st birthday then travelled back to FLT.

One more weekend of North stuff next week then I get to have some London fun thru May. 8)

the world famous Ealing Park Tavern !!!!!!!we were the noisy table out the back!
my bf and his freinds have been going there for a few months, it was the first time ive been.

very nice but they dont sell crisps!!! and £7.50 for a plate of 2 bits of brie and a bit of stilton was expensive. however we are also going on thursday for a proper meal as apparently the food is lovely!

Fri - met Jamie and Rach after work for a Lovers Night of a few civilised wines and pizza by the river, fast forward a few hours and we're scurrying round Brick Lane looking for Katie   Back to the HOG for lots of minxiness, must have passed out at some point cos........

Sat - woke up at 8am on Jamie's sofa and an empty flat - where were Jamie and Rach :? Tried to call them but no reply so I figured they'd gone out somewhere so I jumped on the Central Line back to Ealing planning of having a productive day back home. Get back to Ealing and almost in sight of our house and I have 854542834765 voicemessages from my AWOL friends - they'd just got in from Redlight  Now any sane person would have said gone home, but oh no at 9am Saturday morning it seemed like the BEST idea in the world EVER to go back to Jamies to continue the fun and games :spank:  Get back and pick up where we left with a champagne and Katie breakfast  Saturday was a day of wrong-ness, in the evening Tom to come over save us  Got home late Saturday night feeling like I needed a life support machine

Sunday - woke up feeling like I'd been run over  Dragged my sorry self over to Islington to meet up with Big Head and co in Keston Lodge for his birthday celebrations - the medicinal powers of wine never fail to work and by mid-afternoon had a new lease of life and felt on top of the world

The restaurant is lovely :D My only complaint with the place is that they don't do a veggie roast on Sundays so we tend to avoid it on Sundays cos of that which is a shame cos apparently their meat roast is really good.

Oh I know the EPT well although it's not quite our local, we're nearer Ealing, near St. Marys church. The food is nice but obv restaurant quality (and Prices)

We go the Red Lion more and if we want a proper non fussy pub meal the Rose and crown food has gone really nice. Massive beer garden too that gets loads of sun, downside is the Kids can be a bit annoying.

I have been to the New Inn for their Sunday roasts the last couple of times - the food is really good but there are so many children screaching about the place that I am going to venture back to the child-free sanctuary of the good old Red Lion

   no pitbulls in this one.
You know St. Marys church? on the corner as you turn into South Ealing Rd, coming from Ealing Broadway? It's just behind there tucked away.

I am so dizzy today I just described the Rose and Crown location.

Weekend

Friday; Booked our Kanye West tickets ('kin expensive)

Saturday; Lazy afternoon in garden....Barbecue with friends then on to Zero's in Plymouth till 4am

Sunday; Made the most of the last of the lovely weather by driving across Dartmoor with the top down...Bloody chilly at times though! Then an early night

Bliss!

Fri - a much deserved night in I have to say

Sat - shopping in the morning back to the famous big P for bikinis
Night out in the evening which I was not really looking forward to as felt a bit ill and tired but actually turned out to be a great night. I had great fun messing about and being silly with a friend of a friend who looks a bit like Simon Le Bon so that was all fun and games. I was calling for my bed come 3 o clock though I have to say! Maybe I am getting old :?

Sun - sunbathing at the local park and feeling a bit worse for wear in the morning, 2 bottles of wine the night before = dehydration I have to say.
Cinema in the evening with a very nice young man  Saw that Alpha Dog with Justin Timberlake - was very impressed and it was a true story which is always good.

fr: i was just relaxing, because the day before i went to a party and drunk a little bit to much

sa: we're visiting a friend who is studying in konstanz, it's in the south of germany...sightseeing etc. and in the evening we went to zürich to the rohstofflager where john & jasper dahlbäck were playing....good and hart style but there sets were really good...good hard stuff in my opinion...

su: allright..same thing like friday but without too much alcohol the night before...so we're just tired but had to go home to karlsruhe from konstanz and so we'd just 2 hours sleep...
so..the bed was calling yesterday evening at 8pm and sleeping till 10am today... 8) 8)

...good & nice weekend...sightseeing and clubbing and eating and alcohol and much more ;)

ah yeah 8) 8)

Friday night went out for a friends leaving drinks. As I wanted to get the last trains home, I got the tube to Victioria, and rememebered an old friend was putting on a night at Pacha. I've missed my train, the next one's not for an hour, so I gave him a quick call.

Got ushered in, only to bump into loads of people I haven't seen in ages, which was all a bit of a shock, especially for a Friday night. The music wasn't exactly progressive minimal, though from not expecting anything from the night, it was busy enough, the music was nice 'honest' funky (i.e., not brash ear covering stuff) electro, and had ****loads of jokes with some old faces that makes me think I should really do this more often.

Saturday was spent shopping like I had a stolen credit card (girls you would have been proud), and developed new thesis on buying cheap items to balance out the expensive ones - I.e - I didn't spend 'so much' on a shirt, I spent "so much, plus a little tiny bit" on 2 shirts! Smashed some 24hour spending PB's in any case.

Later heard (I can;t listen or watch it live!) that Spurs stuck it up the Arse(!) in the dying seconds of the derby, which was a relief, though I'm sure nothing less than we deserved!

In the evening I witnessed the delights of the epitome of our capitals premier tourist evening entertainment, the West End. Much fun however, though sunday was spent performing the herculean task of tidying, and reforming my bedroom on the Sunday post building work. A task made much more bearable with the amiable backdrop of the marathon on in the tv, with the odd eye cast over it to see if I could see my pal running it (I didn't, funnily enough!), and considered the annual promise that I might give it a shot next year, an outcome as likely as Del Boy and Rodney owning surplus of a million pounds in ths same time frame.

Just as I retired to bed late on Sunday night, I breezed through a few old tunes, and stumbled across what may well be the Most important House Music Discovery of the Twenty First Century, details of which may follow, though in fairness, it was more of a personal thing (no, really...)

Which was nice.

Fab weekend all round really. Not least of all signified that I feel absurdly chirpy for a Monday morning!

Really poor friday night. had organised my birth day meal at a place called the circle, its manchesters only private members club . they sold it to me on 1/2 price drinks till midnight & 1/2 price food. mates were dubious about going as it is generally full of t1ts, that is until i told them about the offers. got there - offers with drawn:twisted:   Member of staff who sorted was not working so that was that:evil: unbelievable. Its not so much the money (albeit it was £7.80 for a vodka orange - in Manchester!) it just made me look daft and them look very very cheap, and like a business struggling for cash. grr. And then on my own birthday i got thrown out for doing things i should not have been doing. No complaints there mind, it's the bouncers job and it could have got a lot worse.

So nightmare only saved by going to a nice bar called mojo with ace cocktails.

Saturday went to see the producers at the theatre with the folks followed by an armenian buffett. Ace it was, peter kay is brilliant but also respectful of the other characters.

Sun, home to see my lickle baby nephew who is amazing and cheered me right up:)
