Weekend rundowns

Friday - fu*k all

Saturday - Went to Liverpool, not been socializing there in years but was some session, on the beer from 8am to 4am that nite so a serious session, stayed in the Radisson but was overpriced and rude staff so wont be staying there again, some 40 year married scouse bird took a shine to me, something about the accent8O:lol: only place i remember being was some bar called the living room, anyone know this place?

Sunday- Terrible hangover, even worse when you've to get the ferry back

there are several "the living room"s across UK now i think, well defo in leeds and manchester. one in liverpool used to be quite trendy, get your footballer/music types in there but has gradually become just another trendy looking bar with a ridiculous door policy.

e.g. the one in leeds doesn't allow casual footwear on weekends (like smart trainers), but they'll happily let a bunch of toerags in wearing school subsidiary kickers and a ben sherman!!

   I read about them in the paper, classy pair 8O

You dont get much classier like do you???

Not that I have anything against porn , but the fact its mother and daughter makes me feel slightly queasy it has to be said - it might be porn but isnt it incestuous in some shape or form too????

I cant view the link - takes ages to open at work - but this isnt the 2 that were on Deal or No Deal is it then it came out about the porno???

I love my mum to bits but I can't say I've ever had the desire to get involved in a porno with her 8O  There's certain people for porn and it def shouldn't be your mum

Yup - that's the classy ladeez

I am half expecting his sister's party to later involve a pint glass being handed round while the blokes chuck in £1 each for the after hours entertainment....

was only till someone mentioned it on another forum it clicked what id been looking at!

ferd - howells was BRAW! Ken?

Sat Day - More work on my small tropical Ocean:)
Night - Small house party but home early as I was driving

Sun Day - More aquatic antics:roll:
Night - Went to see The Killers in Nottingham. Very enjoyable show and good venue.Though the performance seemed almost a bit too polished and at times a bit passive compared to clubbing. Can't believe each track was just like the CD (ie no changes to words, etc) plus no talk between songs:?: I guess they are performers rather than show people:?: Good to see another side of music compared to Dance music.

Friday, Nada!!

Saturday Toolroom Knights, MK & D Ramirez b2b, Wally Lopez, Gabriel & Dresden and Dave Spoon, cracking night, great vibe, musically spot on, and a highly entertaining evening!!

Sunday, the mighty Spurs!! And Top Gear, that program just gets better!!

Fri: Drove down to Cheshire after work to see the in-laws.

Sat: Went into Manchester, watched the Liverpool vs Rags game then headed to CoMS to see another disappointing, frustrating City performance. :x Met up with a uni mate afterwards for a couple then back to the in-laws.

Sun: Due to an electricity cut, we all headed to a pub in Cheadle Hulme for a Sunday lunch, before driving back home and finishing off some work.

at the killers gig in manc it went right off, different from clubbing but jsut as amazing in a different way. i'm never really been to gigs before (well as an adult) so it was all new to me.

i thought about the polished performance bit too, but the conclusion i came to was this; as a fan i had gone to hear them play their songs in a live arena blasted out with other fans and this is exactly what they delivered. i think many bands would dream of being able to recreate their studio sound live - brandon's voice was flawless. moreover, brandon did do some talkin at manc, where he basically explained "we're jsut gonna play"........suppose there is no point them making idol chat if that's not what they're good at.

same reason why you never get sasha on the mic when he is DJing, well very rarely anyway!

all good!8) 8) 8)
