Weekend rundowns

What restaurant is this?

The Walpole on South Ealing Road - have you been?? I don't know how long it's been there, we just saw it when we were dog walking a few weeks ago. It's really small and nothing to look at from outside but the food is amazing :D

Yeah it's been open years, we've never been though.
Friends that have been have said it's lovely food and the owner has a potty mouth.

Shows how much notice I take of my surroundings, I'd never seen it before in my life  There's a few nice little places on South Ealing Road that I've just noticed - you're probably going to tell me they've been there years too  ;)

Butlers is great, it's a Thai by night and does a great Veggie full English in the day, also you take your own vino.

Joure de vivre (sp) is lovely too and does the nicest healthy Med food. Really good Falafal.

That should be you take your own Vino at night, not for breakfast although........

Centred around technique in leeds, top night however with random rubbish punk band thrown in the middle. good tip on the contact grego;) , got on the guest list - needed as dirty disco was raided so technique ended up rammed.

sat: mrs russ and i went to canvas for Dusted. our very own anil played the opening set in the back room so we got in nice and early and yer man, as ever played a cool one.

dusted is hillarious. lots of bling ting, peeps drinking cheap champagne but using Moet buckets to hold the bottle in. the main room was the most obvious funky house by numbers.

lots of girlies in little floaty dresses, far too much make-up and way way way too much perfume. the guys were in nicely pressed shirts and those weird multi-hairstyled choppy haircut things.

we left not long after anil finished playing. i really was looking forward to wally lopez but he wasnt on till after 3 and i couldnt face staying till then.

but then maybe it's just not my 'scene'

Sun: made vegetable beds for my garden and went to the pub. didnt see the footie, but then perhaps that's just as well (dirty cheating etc etc etc)

I have no idea what happened this weekend to tell you the truth..... consisted mainly of sleep....

Fri: Phil was travelling back from Sheffield so made myself a nice dinner, sat down to chill. Phil fell in the door at 8pm, 2 pints and 2 double vodka cokes later..... He was talking rubbish so I nodded and smiled politely as you do, but luckily he was out cold by 9.00pm    Followed by me asleep on sofa by 10.30pm

Sat: Up at the crack of dawn..... went for jog. Got home with the papers had a quiet breakfast, then left Phil and a few Norwegians to watch the derby at ours and went to town to look for birthday presents for Phil.
Came home laden with goodies but had a right strop on when I tried my new bikini on - I swear to god I looked like Vicky Pollard in that scene in LB - I reckon I have put on over half a stone since packing in the cigs....... Opened a bottle of wine to drown my sorrows in true Bridget Jones stylee..:spank: :spank: then fell asleep on the sofa again by 10.30!!!!

Sun: Went for a jog - then went to the beach with the dog and my friends little girl... had a sensible dinner when I got home - watched crap - bed by 11.00pm

Still - I feel great today for all that sleep ....

Went snowboarding again..so am completely exhausted due to getting back late and getting up so early for work..

Went for a hike into a bit of the dangerous backcountry ... the run took forever to get down..so feel like an expert.I took a a photo of me next to a sign that says " do not enter... you can die here!'

That was the thrill of my weekend!

NO! 8O
I was in shock.
At least it was a hard poo.

maybe she was just trying to keep her hands warm but she saw you and decided to pretend she was feeding the swans.

Some people are very close to their pets and have no idea what swans eat.

Tobi Neumann and Andre Galluzi @the sub club in Glasgow on friday it was a cocoon night ,absolutely class man tunes and atmosphere, best night ive had out in ages :D

Very messy. Started off with good intentions - straight to my Body Pump class after work and then met some friends for a lovely Thai meal. Then, when I really should've gone home and stayed there, went back picked up some booze and headed to a mate's where I stayed until Sunday.

The flash-backs have been haunting me all day!
