Not being funny, whats the point of having the guy play at ministry, when he's a ****e live dj, who's entire act has the sole redeeming factor that his tunes are upfront. (Well, I know what the point is, though his appeal will wane somewhat quicky if there's more nights like last night)
And if this wasn't bad enough, the guy was off his tits. It's one thing to have a drink or whatever, put looking like he's got the worst hayfever in the world, chewing his face off, with ****ed up pupils, occasionally wailing "yeah" in the crowd, well don't do it whilst there's a light permanently shining in your face.
And a little, cynical part of me thinks that doing a set on Ableton in said state, well, draw you're own conclusions.
And call me old fashioned, but it takes the piss slightly if you're charging the club 10-15k or whatever.
Saturday was chav central, and I'm surprised there wasn't as many fights in there as there were. And what with the new VIP section, it stinks of turing into Pacha, only without the funky house.
I'm n Ministry hater (quite the opposite infact), though they're opening themselves up for abuse with these sort of nights, soley requiring a transient crowd who'll **** off next week cos DJ Superstar is playing somewhere else.
