Never started a weekend rundown thread so.........
fris - Gym, wine and homemade laska. yum
Sat - massive walk in the palk, gym, hot choccy and snooze.... followed by meeting Sar, Tom, Silv, and Ferd and his pretty missus at the Red Lion. Great night, lovely company and I didn't Nick Danny Da Dog.
Sun - Massive lie in with all the trasshy tabloids and beans on toast
Made usual roast for friends got through far too much wine.

And I've never posted in a w/end rundown thread so...

Fri. Down to London for my Bro's lacklustre 30th birthday party in Balham... ditched it by 11 and ended up at Dusted in Clapham for a bit of Norman Jay.

Sat. Chinese and Poker.

Sun. Work until a 2am :spank:

Fri - Little Britain Live at Brixton Academy. Entertaining enough andAnna loved it so as a surprise for her, it was ideal.

Sat - Hit the road to Manchester to visit mates and their new baby. Nice long boozy lunch and a more booze back at theirs until midnight before heading back to our hotel.

Sun - Quick steam and swim, and back to the smoke for Chelsea/Man U watching in the pub.

Great weekend.

Thursday - Took a "sick" day. Had a very nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday. Roasted a turkey and took it over to a friend's place for dinner. Nice group - equal parts US, UK and Russian. Ate a lot of food. Drank a lot of alcohol.

Friday - The music festival I'd planned to attend (with Tiga, Razorlight, Hyper, etc.) got cancelled due to licensing problems :( but Tiga re-booked into club Mio for 2 hour set :D Came home from work to rest up but dozed off for several hours sleep. Only made it to club for last half-hour of Tiga's set  but he was absolutely rocking the place :D Stuck around for a while afterwards, then to Mix for after hours...

Saturday - ...got home at 10:30, went to sleep at 1, woke up at 6, and got ready to go out. First, attended a birthday party at a friend's place. Then went to the rock club Crisis Genre where another friend was celebrating his birthday by performing with a band. The highlight had to be their rendition of KISS' "Rock and Roll All Night" (Buckley would have enjoyed it). Called it an early night at 2:30 because...

Sunday - ...day of the big game. Lazed around the house until time to go to the sports bar for Man U v Chelsea. Fair result. Stuck around to see Washington play in American football. Beer and bloody mary consumption made it 6 days of the past 9 drinking :?

. Great night, lovely company and I didn't Nick Danny Da Dog.

 You so had your eye on him didn't you you theiving Scouser  ;)

Fri - Sil landed and got to ours for about 8.30pm - lots of wines to celebrate her arrival.

Sat - up and shopping by 9am - we were so early even the shop assistants were laughing at us  Shopped shopped and more shopping - I think I almost finished poor Sil off   Then went to Notting Hill for Portobello Market and then lunch. At night met up with Sandi, Dom, Ferd and Tamsyn in our local for some proper pub grub and lots of wine. Then back to ours for lots more wines.

Sun - woke up, still drunk but had to do it all again and went to Carter's new gaff in Shepherd Bush and met up with Rach, Rob, Rob, Erin, Russ for the best roast in London Town  Then watched the football and then back to Carters for more wines.

Great wkend from start to finish :D

Fri - saw Monty Python Spamalot in the Theatre - really good, very funny.

Sat - Christmas shopping   hate crowds , then visited Rob's parents for dinner.

Sun - Went to pub in Shephards Bush to meet Sil and company. Had the best roast ever and drank far, far too much.......still feeling rough now :spank:

I think I'm still drunk :? Today is going to be a very long day

Thankfully i am working from home today but i have very big memory gaps for the whole of sunday!!8O i can't remember going home but i remember being home and Rob going out again to get a kebab!!! :D

Friday - went to see Scissor Sisters at Wembley, which was really really good. Drank silly amounts of lager and accidentally missed the last tube home as I was enjoying myself too much in a classy Wembley watering hole. Went back to my mates' house and continued to drink lager until ??

Saturday - went to the Hard Rock Casino for a friend's 30th. We got a tutorial in playing black jack and roulette and got to play with pretend chips for a while which was fun. Drank lots of Singapore Slings and white wine. One of my mate's had a big win so we missed the last tube again and he paid for a cab home.

Sunday - dragged myself out of my cave to go to Shepherd's Bush. Was lovely to see everyone and specially to meet Silvia. Drank lots of red wine and nearly fell asleep on the tube home. Tried to watch Planet Earth coz sharks and whales are my favourite, but may have to watch the repeat next week as I can't really remember it.

I want to go to rehab.

Fri: Gym (no tong meister to listen to 8O )

Sat: Day work, night :- few beers in Leeds, Excellent mexican food @ Cactus Lounge, Back2basics 15th birthday bash; the place was packed to the rafters and a brilliant night.

Sun: Recovery, nice pub lunch, wine & beer, bed.

If I never post on here again it's because I have died of a.j.s (aching joint syndrome, an age related disorder, mainly affecting those old enough to know better but don't, who think they are still 21).:spank:

Friday: Train to London and hardcore shopping with the missus. Day took a turn for the worse when we had too much wine with our "quick lunch" and ended up in a blur flying from shop to shop. Ended back at our hotel, The Langham on Regent street, very grand and posh, unlike my good self. Didn't bother going for a meal as was planned, we just hit a variety of bars near to the hotel. And managed to crash a wedding party at a private members bar which was awkward as the groom asked us who we were.

Saturday : met my sister and went to an Architects gallery for breakfast.

Then endured lasting delays on the train journey home.

Sunday: waited in for our aga type oven thing to get delivered and unblocked a drain and was then sick afetrwards.:p

Fri : Half day at work, a few down the pub sorted scuba kit for Saturday and an early night

Sat : Up at 5.30am (the agony - I'm more used to coming in at that time) and off to Stoney Cove for a (very) cold and wet day of diving - mental note to self stick abroad in Winter and Summer in the UK. Saw a big pike and pulled a muscle in my arse.

Sun: Moving gingerly (due to pulled arse muscle) went home, Sunday lunch then settled down to the very enjoyable Man U v Chelsea game. Watched an old Midsomer Murders that I'd Sky +'d. Went to bed.

sat: - brandon block & alex P @ opium lounge, romford...

spent all night loitering in the booth, night was alright (pretty good for this neck of the woods)... kept getting it in the ear from some bint who kept asking me to ask Brandon to play something more funkyhouse/garage/rnb cos it was getting too "heavy" for her...

Fri:
Had a good night at Turnmills. Spend most of it in the main room. Seb played a good set, but was on a bit too early so it wasnt that busy. It got busier when Tall Paul came on. Askew finished off with a quality trance set.

Sat: Met up with crew in Ealing (after watching ronaldinho score the goal of the season ;) ). Was lovely to meet you and your hubby Sandi 8) and to see Sil again . Had a fantastic evening in which Sar decided to show us what she's been learning in those spanish lessons  Tamsyn was more drunk than she'd imagined and was sick twice on the way back 8O

Sun: Had a very bad hungover, so didnt do much at all

Fri - Went out in 'Nam (or Beckenham, for the non-locals), which involved stannard bar drinks nonsense, and taking abuse from my pals for purposely wearing Biba-Blockers (being trainers i.e. Biba's is a (non) famous nightclub in Bromley that doesn't let you in with trainers), thus preventing a late night.

Sat - Went to (of all places) The Hat Club at the Light Bar in Shoreditch. An old friend was leaving to go travelling, so was merely a face-showing exercise to catch up with people. Being forced to buy a stupid hat on the door, whilst entirely acceptable due to the clue-in-the-name policy of the night, still felt like somewhat of a rip off.

That said, it was nice to see people (assumingly DSI regulars) getting all happy and excited by the novelty (just think, in a few years, they'll be going to 'proper' clubs, bless!), though frankly the sound system (portable speakers) I take to Ibiza would have sounded louder and better in there.

Their promotional motto of the night is "Don't tell anyone about Hat club". Well, if you could rephrase that to "Don't Tell Anyone You Saw Me In Hat Club", or "Don't Tell Anyone To Expect To Be Able To Distinguish One Tune From Another In Hat Club" then whilst maybe not as catchy, may be a little closer of some sense of marketing accuracy.

That said, the 2 am close couldn't come quick enough, and after loads of faffing around, coat queues, being told that Canvas wasn't any good (by the doorstaff), we ended up in Egg. I only mention this as I feel I deserved to be somewhat punished for the mistake, and can only re-iterate my mantra that is "IF ANYONE EVER SEE'S ME IN THAT SH*THOLE AGAIN, CAN THEY PLEASE SHOOT ME".

Moreso when you q for half an hour, pay £15 on the door, only to be asked 2 hours later that you'll have to pay another load to stay in there as the promotion switched to the Jaded afterparty.

Returned home in a cab alone, which may as well have been paid in blood, and spent the rest of the day hating myself, my bank balance, and the whole world in general.

Otherwise, yeah, top weekend!

2 pints in The George the highlight then Danielsan?

What was on in Egg before Jaded then?

I don't know and I don't care.

It's all the same. 3 floors of annoyingly anonymous music*, when you could be playing anything for the mindless goons in there.

*With the obvious exception of the one-handed gay houser/Fat Tonys "We Don't Believe In Mixing" showcase
