I had loads of fun this weekend thanks to everyone!!

Thing is I've known you long enough and seen you in enough states that nothing you do shocks me anymore But even I looked round and had to look again and went 'wtf has Rob got on his head'

Fri: Dinner at our friends to see their new arrival Mickey the Springer Spaniel - Benson's new little friend - lovely to see them playing together then flopping down together to sleep when they were too knackered to play anymore.

Sat: Day to myself doing nice stuff, met my friend for a coffee and coo'ed over her baby, came home, made some bedroom curtains, then checked the football results - get it!!!!!!!!! One extremely happy husband.

Sun: Papers, dog walking then became a domestic goddess for the second day on the trot and made a massive sunday lunch followed by apple and blackberry crumble......

OMG I'd forgotten about my 5 mins of fame

Fri;
got silly drunk after work thanks to babs ("only one or two drinks, i promise") becki and jon.

Sat: Had a fantastic night. went to Stu's lovely new london flat for a few pre-clubbing drinks. Off to Type about midnight. Like Sirens, i loved Felix da housecats set (he played for 2hours at type though). Seemed to be lots of party style tracks in there, loads of indie/dance mash-ups included.
Seb of course also played his usual blend of prog and electro, hands in the air galore.

Great to have stu in london, im expecting many more similar nights, so hope he's ready

Fri: Met up with a mate in the lovely Brunswick bar/restaurant in the Merchant City with a school friend who's just moved up from Newcastle to work as a doctor. As she'd only been here for three weeks and hardly seen the sights, did a bit of a pub crawl around our favourite places, getting a tad merry. Then finished back at ours.

Sat: Bit hungover and went to meet another friend in a lovely bar/restaurant in the West End. Another friend up from London for the weekend popped in and we enjoyed the sunshine by sitting in the park. Said byes and headed back to the flat for a nap before heading to a friend's surprise party. Idea was to take it easy but didn't really end up that way! Good laugh though.

Sun: Awoke feeling terrible. Staggered along to get some food but couldn't decide upon anything so got a can of juice and some chips to absorb the alcohol. Couldn't bear to eat them so went straight in the bin! Came home and slept most of the day, awaking in the evening to watch Silent Movie, trash TV and The Simpsons.

Down the country the weekend Sligo to be exact was suprised though haven't been there in over 10 years and it's changed a lot for a smallish town it's fairly cool and the club we went into was fairly cool as well,hi to the girls on a hen nite from Derry who came back to our hotel for an "afterparty"

Fri: works weekend away. Bus down to Crieff Hydro to check in just after lunch. Lun and games on the lawn all afternoon8) At night, four course meal, free booze, MD's speach, big party....sniff sniff

Sat: After one hour sleep, managed to get back up to Aberdeen Went shopping for Ibiza in the afternoon, then collapsed into bed at night8)

Sun: Drinks out in a beer garden, quick visit to see my mum, then early night

Friday - Dusted. Was knackered and working so bailed at 4am

Sat - Watched Liverpool vs Everton and had a few beers after. Passed out at 10pm missing a BBQ at a wicked villa with wicked folk!

Sun - Such a great day. Popped to Can Tixedo, a wicked tapas bar and art gallery near Santa Ines. It´s on the Buscatell crossroads if you want to find it. By complete coincidence, some really good (Spanish) friends of ours were there. Left there after an hour or so and headed to San Mateu where we jumped out of the car and had a wander around. Really wished we eaten at a place we saw there. Can´t think of the name but if you pull up just past the church you´ll smell it!

Pushed on to San Miguel, where we had some baguettes (my parma ham and cheese was particularly good, Anna´s tuna was average) at a cafe right on the beach. The restaurant next door looked good too but was rammed. Suitably fuelled we visited the San Miguel´s caves after a beer in the bar there. We were very entertained by our guide - go and see the inherent comedy in how she presents. Don´t want to spoil it but if you get the guide we did it´s hilarious!

We stopped for ice cream at San Joan on the way to Ibiza Town and noted from that it appears to be a bit of a hub for yoga/natural healing/finding yourself types.

Finished with lovely goat cheese and walnut toastadas at Bliss on Parc des Placa in Ibiza Town, enhance with a flying visit from Dr Mick. Blew out plans for Flower Power at Pacha because we having any more good times in 24 hours would be plain greedy.

Friday - Former colleague's housewarming party which went very late and got very wet. Swung by Fabrique and caught an hour of DJ Mark Lewis from the States. Then to Mix for afters... pretty standard program.

Saturday - Woke up very late. Straight off to the sports bar for Chelsea v Charlton and Manchester v Tottenham. Then to a bar called Crisis Genre where my friend's band was playing. After that, to a new club/project called CabareTT for Behrouz. Blinding set, lame crowd... music was tops, though. Off to Mix for a couple hours. Home to catch the replay of Sharapova v Henin-Hardenne (go Maria!).

Sunday - Cleaned up a bit and got some take-out sushi in preparation for the missus' arrival home. Watched several episodes of Lost, and then Federer v. Roddick.

Sad that Friday's Crystal Method appearnce got postponed. Otherwise, pretty good weekend.

Got rained off the beach today at 7pm ( 6 there natch) if that helps? Been drinking white wine in a pre-Cocoon binge ever since though and am now very smiley

Third bottle just ordered. Meeting at Kissdafunk at Kanya at 1am - hope I make it!

Buckley - is Benirras one of the best places for snorkling? Didn't see much when I went there last year. Talamanca was pretty good for it.
