Weekend Rundowns

Fri - went shopping after work, Tom came and met me at the tube station with 2 little friends :D :lol: and went out for a few drinks.

Sat - Tom at work so more clothes shopping (I think I'm turning into JessyG :lol: ;) ) and played with my doggies :D At night we went to AWT restaurant - Kew Grill. Lovely food but like his Notting Hill restaurant is definitely geared towards the meat eaters :twisted:

Sun - Nice lie in and then took the doggies out to Ealing Common, then the most randomest thing happened, as we're walking down our road I hear a 'Sarah' and I'm thinking 'who's this??' cos you never just run into people in London, it only turns out it's a girl who I went to A-level college with in S****horpe and not seen for 12 years - we chatted to her and her b/friend for a bit and found out that we were actually neighbours 8O Now Scunny isn't a very big place and London is a huuuuuugggeeee place, so the chances of us living next to each other are pretty random 8O After taking the doggies out, watched the football and then we went out and met said Scunny girl and her b/friend for drinks and catch-up on all things Scunny :lol:

Friday - Pie and mash for dinner, lots of red wine and finished Season 2 of One Tree Hill on DVD. :lol:

Saturday - jog round Tooting Common, then train to Kent where my family live. Lovely time eating and drinking and catching up with family gossip.

Sunday - Mum's roast dinner 8)

Feeling very clean and refreshed and ready for a retox. :p

pretty uneventful except for going for a drink over in camden on sat night.

we ended up at some kinda party in an art gallery in the stables.

the music was all over the place, 80s stuff, the smiths, queen,x-express etc. much fun

the crowd are what is described as ' the elegantly wasted'.

the queue for the one toilet was huge.

I know, that's coz my mum brought me tea and toast, then walked me to the train station. :lol:

Let the countdown begin (is it too early to talk costumes?). :lol:
 
Fri- Stealth for lenny Fontana who played far harder than i would have expected...but my mate played after him and started off with DJ Sneak- Can't hide from your bud!....WICKED!!! An old tune, but love it!

Sat- Watched forest secure another 3 points.....4 wins out of 4! Then to igunanas for a friends birthday food, then ended up in snug till 3am

Sun- Watched 3 dvds and eat pizza!
 
Fri - takeaway pizza (Spicy Mexican - most enjoyable) then down the local boozer for a few beers with a mate who moved to Bristol (hence I don't see him as much anymore) to discuss next years Ibiza plans.

Sat - started to convert spare room into a studio as fed up of living room / bedroom being so taken over by vinyl, stereo leads and bits of random kit. At night popped into Derby to a bar where an aquaintence has started a night up. Was impressed (Prodigy - No Good Start the Dance mixed into Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit for example) - had a bit of a groove then back home for 2am for a reasonably early night.

Sun - lunch with family at a quaint country pub then watched Chelsea (predictably) batter Man City.
 
Fri/Sat - Family party in Liverpool - made the best of it and didnt cause any trouble - so I deserve brownie points.:) Phil got p***ed catching up with his family (that's twice this year he's gotten drunk and I have had to take his shoes off for him cos he cant get his trousers off for bed!!!:spank: )
Everton won - hurrah - therefore journey home wasnt as horrendous as it could have been.
Sun: Nothing but laze and read papers.

I am so ready for next weekend....:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Fri - few drinks after work, finalised wedding reception stuff.

Sat - Hen Party!! Had party at home, lots of drinking & silliness.

Sun - long lie-in, then out for massive roast & Magners!
 
Friday: Finished work early and got a take away in and watched the big brother final.

Saturday: Up early and went shopping, had Joeys brother and gf around with their little son who was running around and bumping into things the poor little mite :lol:.

Joey cooked a lovely steak dinner and then settled down and watched one fine day on film 4.

Sunday: Up early again :roll:, to go to see my mom and brothers. Joey left at 1pm to drive to Heathrow for his week long trip to Africa again :evil: :roll:. I skulked about, doing girly things like my nails and had a nice hot shower with some sanctuary salt body scrub :)

Whats on next weekend? i know its a bank holiday over there but is there a festival or something on?

August Bank Holiday wkend in England :D Loads of stuff on, in London we're spoiled for choce and doing SW4 on Saturday, x Central on Sunday and Notting Hill Carnival on Monday :D

Sounds good. We had our August bank holiday about 2 weeks ago here in Ireland.

But this weekend we have Daft Punk playing in Marley Park and Deep Dish are playing in Belfast on Sat night so might go up there. I might just make it a bank holiday myself. :) :) :)

Is it both Deep Dish or just one of them?? Sharam is having a baby soon (well not Sharam personally but his ladieeeee) and they've not been playing together so much recently.

I don’t actually know. All I know is its Deep Dish. They were playing hi fi here 2 weeks ago and I think both of them were playing.

My whole weekend blended into one, and finished off by us lying in bed last night eating a pizzahut pizza. urrrgggg.
