Went to the Key for the afterparty, thought about looking for Sirens outside, but then realised I dont know what she looks like

Attempt at provocation? :spank:

It was a poor performance by everyone except Sheva and Essien. Liverpool were deserved winners and, honestly, look really good right now. Perhaps even the team to beat this season :!:

There's 40 weeks to go, though, so I wouldn't worry just yet ;)

essien's a dog, what was he doing pushing garcia in the face. what a cock for doing that.

interesting to see robben throwing himself to the floor 5 mins into the new season, sheva realising he's gonna get kicked up the backside every time he gets the ball to feet and lampard having another stinker!! (how many on the run is that now.  )

I'm completely crazy about Penny - I don't even call it GMTV any more, I just race to the telly in the mornings screeching, "Oooh better put Penny on!" and almost cry real tears on the days when she doesn't sit on the couch.

I'd secretly quite like her autograph. Can you get it for me? 8O

I like Penny too, she's the best one 8)

Do you also think that her and Kate Garrowcow secretly hate each other?? :spank:

 Anyone would think you were embarrassed of me and Jon

Well I do have a reputation to keep with my work collegues you know.. ;)
Seriously though, it just feels wierd for me to see both worlds mixing. Its silly though because it turned out ok, and now that i think about it many of my work mates cane it more than me!

I don't think calling Essien "a dog" is appropriate. The push was extremely poor judgement on his part, I agree (though I'm sure he was provoked) and had it been seen it was probably a straight red. The rest of his game was quite good, however, when most of the team was poor.

I'm sure I can criticize some of the Reds individual actions as well but it's not really necessary. They were the better team on the day and won. Fair play.

but essien's got a track record of being a dog, so it is appropriate. out of interest, what were the individual actions by the reds??

Not the time and place, Grego!

And no, calling him a "dog" is not appropriate. I think what you mean to say that he has a track record of rough play.

Better than calling a black man a dog, which I take offense to.

morbyd, i apologise if my comment offended you cos i'm sure you'll know that my comment was in no way intended to cause offence. i'm not aware of dog as an insult in that way and i hope you know me better than to think i would ever (even in jest) make comments like that. (if in doubt, read my rants about racism in the spanish forum)

ok?

Steve Bug was ok, a very varied set (hard techno would change to deep house in a couple of minutes :? ) which didn't really keep the dance floor rocking throughout his set. But the DJ afterward (Kos) was brilliant, a nice dirty tech-house set and the place absolutely went crazy at all the right moments

Downside of The Key was seeing a huge fight where 2 blokes were kicking the **** out of another bloke and a lady ready to bottle my friend who was trying to break them up :x . Not nice - they had horrible looks on their faces as they did it.

We went to the Key as well, Steve Bug wasn't very good  It was a bit empty in there and quite a dodgy crowd. I didn't see a fight though 8O

@ Ferd why would I be hanging around outside a club

I am not sure what time Steve Bug finished :?

I didn't know you were there  I am sure if I saw you I would have said hello. What were you wearing I might have seen you?

he finished at 4.30

I was wearing a light blue and light pink stripy t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. I spent about 90% of my night to the right of the DJ booth.
