Fri - drinks and dinner with Tom in Ealing

Sat - got me 'fro tamed and then waited for Si and Dani to get to ours, as they called to say they were coming down the road I went out to meet them and managed to lock myself out the house   No choice but to go to the pub til Tom got home from work to let us in   Lots and lots of pre-Ministry drinks and Lucozades at ours and then taxi to Ministry. Couple of drinks upstairs and then into the Bar for a bit of Mutiny and then Box action for Mark Farina and Yousef :D Both on top form :D Back to ours for a little aftershow.

Football and wine in the evening.

Friday: siesta and shopping in the afternoon, then me and Pep went to Arenys (village in the beach about 60 km from BCN) and had dinner at our fab beach bar, after two bottles of white we found out there were plenty fair attractions in the port and we spent the next two hours being very silly there and looking for my sandal that I lost in one of the attractions  and then we went to LaSal for a couple of drinks and back home

Saturday beach and then at night dinner at my friends terrace, LC and drinks. Got home around 3

Sunday swimingpool and then spent the rest of the day near the air con

Friday: watched BB with lots of drinks, then watched a DVD of Battle Royale - quality film 8)
Saturday: Up early, caught the train to dorset to see the mother & grandmother. Worked on the train - felt very professional

Grandmother seems ok, still quite ill but it was nice to see her and my grandfather

Sunday: Woke up late, realised I hadn't done any more work 8O so decided to quickly pop into town and see a friend I hadn't seen for a couple of years then get a train back to Oxford early afternoon. Trains all delayed and so ended up working until 1am on bloody slides :x

The next two weeks at work are going to be a shocker - deadlines today (eek!), next tuesday, next wednesday and next thursday 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O Bye bye weekend/evenings/spotlight  (actually, spotlight is far more important than work  )

Friday - pub then yummy curry at The Chutney in Wandsworth Town.

Saturday - family gathering in Kent for my mum's birthday.

Sunday - secretsundaze.

Fri: Cinema to see Pirates of the Carribbean 2. Found it very boring...I've realised I hate films with stupid monsters etc! Had a few drinks afterwards, home around 1am:)

Sat: Into town shopping during the day. Got some new shades and t-shirts8) At night, round to a mates to watch the football, before heading into town. Really good night, and didn't leave the dancefloor all night:p :p

Sun: Barbecue, beers, sunbathing and music at a mates all afternoon8) At night, went out to watch the football, and ended up pretty boozy:p

Mon: Day off work8)

Friday - very quiet nite with only a few beers in the flat.

Headed up to Perth for T in the Park. Stayed in a nice hotel and got the shuttle bus to the site. Absolutely storming weekend. Saw the following acts either by choice or cos we happened to be there at the time.

Saturday

Maximo Park - excellent
The Orb - disappointing
Slam - fan-f*cking-tastic
Franz Ferdinand - just a little but ok
Derrick May - great
Vitalic - excellent
Jeff Mills - some ropey mixing in the first half hour but storming after that

Sunday

The Proclaimers - just don't get it
Paolo Nutini (acoustic) - not my thing
The Magic Numbers - again, not my thing
Hard-Fi - good, inc a great cover of Seven Nation Army
Arctic Monkeys - amazing
2 Many DJs - excellent
Laurent Garnier (live) - brilliant
Felix da Housecat - tremendous

Drank loads of beer
Drank loads of whisky
Got incredibly soaked on the saturday at the end

Now that you mention it, I remember that aside form his poor tune selection at Pure Pacha last week, Jeff Mill's mixing was all over the place too!

Went to Type on saturday. A bit too packed for my liking but you always get that at The Cross in the summer. Really good music all night long form Cassius and Seb

Friday - was suppose to go to Fabric but the queue was HUGE! At 2am decided to go to Turnmills, excellent music, King Roc and Rui Da Silva, crowd was a bit dodgy. But still had an excellent time!

Saturday - Carry on at my place

Sunday - Had a look at the sales, very diasappointing

hello mate

I heard jeff mills blew sonar into orbit a few weeks ago. Infact, I have heard from about 3 different sources that his set was the best throughout the festival.

Did you know Jeff Mills are Laurent Garnier are both playing lost, together, on the same night. It is on August 27 which seems to be a very fun packed weekend... very tempting

my weekened was most the sensible I have ever experienced, and probably not to be repeated until the summer is well and trully over.

Friday stayed in and knocked Bec of her feet which my supreme cooking.
Saturday we played tennis in the morning, followed by a pub lunch with family members - home and watched football
sunday went imperial war museum for about 3.5 hours, yet we still did not manage to see everything - home and watched football

sounds unreal. It is a secret so I will mail you lol

not really, it is Londons most underground techno promotors (Lost) I have been meaning to go for years but needed a good excuse. I think this is it.

It is a shame cos this one happens to be under London Bridge, which is not my favourite venue, they have put on events over the docks before

I will mail you anyway the email

I've just found it, I was going to ask where Bridge was, I've never even heard of it :?

Looks good but Deep Dish might be on @ Ministry that night and if not we're doing Cross Central - there's always way too much choice on bank holidays.

lost was excellent at the bridge (SEone club) when they had richie hawtin, magda & troy pierce. Great venue when it's full, especially for techno/darker sounds. HUGE black room with a strobe and few red lights =
