Jon had gone up to Cardiff without a ticket, but amazingly he bunged the guy on the door £50 and he let him in!!!

That's Jon's story - I reckon he went for the technique we discussed on email last week (Young male, 5 foot 10, brown hair, green eyes - will do ANYTHING for a ticket).

My weekend:

Friday – drinks and drunken dinner with friends in Wimbledon

Saturday – watched the football in my fave bar with the fit barmen. Surrounded by Liverpool fans but kept thinking about Jon and willing West Ham to win. The power of my mind is clearly not that strong. Home for more wine, nice food and DVDs, then had an unexpected visitor who kept me up all night.

Sunday – watched Shipwrecked final which made me cry  and caught up with The OC and Lost. Ate more nice food and drank more wine.

I'll break my weekend rundown cherry

Went to a cuban bar in Camden on Friday for a friends birthday...one in the market...not sure of the name...they took far to long making the mojito's...although they were good.

Watched the footy in my local 'The Woolpack' (I kid you not...and I don't live in Emmerdale!)

Played in a poker tourney on Saturday night but I was very merry...and lost quickly...got more merry.

Sunday - read the papers, watched filmage.

sorry for popping into your conversation, but my dog Peg is very jelaous, he goes mad if he see any other dog and if he see us being nice with another dog he gets depressed. make sure that if you want a couple there are friends from the very first. pep is very friendly with cats but not with dogs.

Oh my god I am really excited - puppies are brill..... another quick tip, if you can - get 2, because if you and Tom are at work all day, they will keep each other company (however, then can cause twice as much mayhem too!!):? :?

Its great being a mum....... when everyone at work gets piccies of their kids out I get my babies photos out too - but some people just dont understand.

On a shallow point of being a mum, you get more presents too - Mother's day pressies, christmas and birthday pressies off the kids - its great!!

PS - on the subject of "babs love"I do hope its not the type of "babs love" you intend to give to your pink Smeg.. I dont believe that that is a love you could get away with for doggies :-(

No please, join in, I was thinking of changing the name of the thread anyway....

Mikkak - Benson, my male dog HATES all other dogs too (except for his beloved sister Harley (RIP) who he absolutely idolised and followed her around everywhere (and she was such a cow to him at times too!!) anyway he either tries to fight anything (regardless of size or breed) or tries to have doggy sex with everything (regardless of size or sex)...... so he is a bit of an embarrassement to be honest - but there have been more laughs than tears with his behaviour

Babs - Tom wont notice - if they all look similar just show them one out at a time when you get back home and he wont notice there are actually 6 of them - he will think you've shown him 2 of them quite a few times over or alternatively, stick them at the bottom of the bed with all the other boys and girls you have and he may not notice the extra few....

    Well there is a bit of a story about that....

The Good story is:-- Was on holiday in Gran canaria years back visiting a mate who was working as a timeshare tout out there. Now I know she used to use lots of stories about her mates and their lives out there to keep the punters in the complex for the 3 hours she had to in order to get paid....

Whilst walking along the street this one day in GC we stopped for a pint. Lovely little pub with doggies...... so naturally, we had to stop there to play with the furry kids. This barman comes out takes our order and we have a bit chat, mainly about dogs, his, ours, that sort of thing and why we were out there etc etc. after the first drink all our drinks are free apparently, wouldnt take any cash from us just kept telling me I was a "beautiful person" (but he wasnt being pervvy or anything) After about 3 hours of free drinks I asked him why? He told me he know Fi, our friend out there and he recognised us from her photos back home and how he thought we were fantastic for "liberating" our wonderful dogs, turns out Fi in her "storytelling" had told him about her two friends with the most gorgeous beagles (errr they are crossed with labs) who liberated them from an animal experimentation laboratory and saved their lives...... (a brilliant story but totally untrue and we didnt have the heart (far too embarrassed also) to tell the bar man the true story     )

Bloody Fi had managed to sell about 3-4 timeshares on the back of that story!!)

True Story: Got burgled twice in 6 weeks, so decided to get a dog, went to the pet shop to check out if anyone had any puppies needing homes, and they had two little puppies in a cage by themselves all the others had been sold. I just had to have them - £20 each - best £40 I ever spent..... (but then the thousands on top of that of course.....    )
