Ah, another weekend gone by too fast.
Friday - Attended a friend's birthday party at a stylish new DJ bar called Sorry, Babushka. Good party and a perfect warm-up before heading for the first time to a club that opened a couple of months ago called Gazgolder. Very cool place, sad that we hadn't tried it out sooner. Great dirrty house in the upstairs room (which featured a small fireplace and old, warn sofas and comfy armchairs off to the side of the dancefloor
), so that's where we took up residence until about 5 when the missus started to pass out and we had to get her home
Saturday - Spent half the day at the sports bar watching football then home for a couple of hours before going to club Gaudi Arena for the Amnesia-Ibiza World Tour or whatever they called it. Marco V headlined and I quite enjoyed his set (must have been in the mood for it). Good crowd, though it was a little odd at one point to hear 1000 overmedicated student-aged people screaming "Mar-ko-Vee" in unison
Plus someone insisted on giving me a glowstick as I was buying a drink at the bar
(which I quickly passed on to someone else, who proceeded to use it in a bizarre mating dance with her boyfriend
)
Sunday - the missus and I went to dinner at a great new Uzbek restaurant nearby.. kazy, plov, lagman... mmmmm
Then grocery shopping. Watched Brokeback Mountain.
