8O Especially after then being out earning a crust all day whilst we're sat on our lazy bums drinking.

Oh you know my bestfriend who was meant to join us, well he asked me to be his bridesmaid yesterday! Official title is G_____ Bridesmaid. I'm so excited!

At least you'd done good wifey duties and made a shepherds pie, poor Tom had to go and get a Subway after we left you cos he was so hungry

How exciting, a g___ bridesmaid, I hope he makes you wear a suitably g__ outfit

Thursday - stayed at the park plaza hotel at belfast airport. Not a great hotel for the money but the meal was gorgeous. Had some drinks and bed.

Fri- Flew to Bristol at 7am. Caught the train down to cardiff and checked into the hotel. Class hotel - The Royal Hotel it is so central and the rooms were just amazing. Went shopping and walked to find Cardiff International Arena as we were to see Little Britain there on sat night, but then got a text to say that ot had been postponed  gutted as this was the purpose of the trip anbd a birthday pressie to my other half. We decided to just get on with it and hit the bars. I love cardiff and the people are so lovely. Crawled into the hotel at 2am.

Sat - woke up with a very sore head and made it down for brekkie - which was a lovely posh continental one. Headed down to cardiff bay which was really nice had some lovely fish for lunch and went on a boat trip. Did more shopping. Went to a lovely mexican resturant for dinner and drinks - was a great night.

All in all a fab weekend, i will definitley be back in wales

I'm sure Naddyz will have a little showgirl number that you could borrow off him

Looks like a busy weekend for loads of people.

Saturday night was brilliant. Tongy played a very Tongy-esque set, mainly big tunes, most of which were electro-y. Tom Stephan afterwards was very good too. Danced in Barbie's spot mostly all night  Was half expecting her to show up since she was getting gradually more drunk as the evening went on. ;) Crowd was very up for it, specially when it was live on the radio.

Left at 6, and was made to queue for a bit outside Turnmills. The two friends I went with got sick soon after walking in so thanks to Naddyz, Robder, the lovely Leah for sticking with me most of the morning ;) . I thought those tequilas went down fairly well
Morbyd, I thought it best to save my Barcelona comment till after the 2nd leg, you just never know in football.
Was great meeting Grego for the first time too 8) Hopefully next time we can chat for a bit longer. The music was excellent in both rooms but the main room was far too cold, thats why most people decided to dance in T2.

Only down side to the weekend was finding out about the racist abuse Etoo had to take in the game on saturday   . Im so ashamed thats happened again. I hope the spanish FA takes some serious action this time

Why is Turnmills main room so damn cold?! It's great at 2am when the place is heaving but by 6am when it's emptied out a bit its like being in a fridge! 8O

yess, ashamed too, only way from my point of view is to close down the stadium for a few of weeks plus an huge economic fine, that would hurt!!!

on the other side this time I had one of those hard matches Mallorca - Real Madrid, my clubs, ofcourse I was with The Real Mallorca, but is hard to see them playing against each other

I had an incredibly silly conversation with someone in turnmills about skiing after you left 8O it started with me saying that my feet were going to be so worn down after all this dancing that they'd be all smooth and i could glide about the house and i'd get a slope installed instead of stairs and then I wondered why no-1 else and invented it and I realised that skiing was what I'd just thought of. So technically I invented skiing in turnmills for the second time. We figured that most good inventions must have occured in clubs.

*smiles, nods and backs away slowly*

(but secretly quite pleased that other people have conversations like that too.)

I was in quite a random mood indeed

(was actually quite shamed by that post once I'd submitted it! But I knew you'd understand   )

Thursday - Saw Tim Vine at a theatre in Enfield. Managed to not get picked on by the warm-up fella despite our front row seats. The current Mrs B did get invited on stage by the main man (what selection criteria these fellas use who knows eh?), who without explaining tried to wrap a towel around them both for thirty odd seconds before the music started and he sang 'this towel ain't big ebough for the both of us'! You may cringe, but after Anna returned to her seat he trumped this by plonking himself down on a rubber duck he said he bought on an internet auction site *sings* 'Sitting on the duck off Ebay....' And so on.

Friday - Coach to Wales for a mates birthday larks. Mucho booze and food in a castle for a murder mystery dinner. Great fun but I've no doubt that our 50 strong party of hammered, costumed up loons ruined it for the 15 or so folk in civvies who weren't with us. The poor actors really struggled too, not least the lute playing minstrel accompained on stage by one of our number, un-invited natch.

Sat - Chepstow races. Had my second and third ever bets in my life, completing a hatrick of losses:lol:. My first sight of the first one I backed was seeing him gallop around the final bend, jockey-less, having decided he'd really rather go it alone just after the start. He then decided he didn't really like the pre-determinded course and battered his way through the flimsy barriers marking the 'official' route. Anna told me I shouldn't be cheering him anymore, but I couldn't help but admire his spirit and he looked like he was having the time of his life! Really enjoyed it though and there was a great cheese stall there. The amount of chilli cheese I consumed brought me out in really horrid rash on Saturday night but I managed to drink it away. Later Saturday night is a drunken blur, but I remember my best ever rendition of 'The Fields of Athenry' being in there somewhere. Oh, and one of our drunken mates told another's drunken mate's drunken girlfriend that she has a fat arse, which didn't go down well at all. Funny that

Sun - Hungover coach journey home and four quiet pints, followed by C4's '100 Funniest Moments'.

I agree with you about closing the Zaragoza stadium too. Something HAS to be done :( Atleast Mallorca did Barcelona a favour ;)

Becki, I can usually dance in the main room at Turnmills even when its pretty cold, but sunday morning it seemed to be on full blast

Sunday :- Woke up at 4.30 am and drove to turnmills for vvvwi

Morbyd was an honour to meet you ur a genuinly nice guy as u seem on here,

Grego thanx for introducing urself nice hat by the way was a messy session didnt see u after we were introudced thou.

Naddys - Morbyd pointed u out but im not sure which one u was so didnt embarass myself by saying hi.

Robder think i saw u several times but again didnt want to say hi just in case,

In case u guys missed me i was the fat bloke giving it large on the dancefloor !! loved it main room was rocking but wentbit weird about 10ish started playing less dark and a bit lighter, but went to t2 and it was rammed didnt notice the main room being cold but i had my jackett on, found a corner in t2 and danced till 11.30 then drive back to Ramsgate

Did anybody see the bloke with the telly on his head?? thought i was tripping out!!!

Fronty - The guy with the television head was there all night... freaked me a bit when I first saw him as well. Sorry I wasn't more talkative by the time you got there (except I think I randomly babbled something to Robder a few minutes before then:lol:) Good idea keeping your jacket on, by the way... I wondered why you didn't head to the cloakroom but now it all makes sense!

Anil - great to see you as well... we've got to get you out here to play sometime (and Marky too :D)

absolute rollercoaster of a weekend - good, bad, sad, happy times all in the space of a few days

fri - travelled to london, met some friends in clapham then had an incident with jagermeister and kathleen (which basically meant i felt like a dog all saturday:cry: )

sat - thought i was ok but then realised i'm such a lightweight and i had a massive hangover; still managed a cultural day out round covent garden, british museum8O , etc before flashing my cash in selfridges

was still feeling like sh1t and still being a sadsack by the time of my mates party, which was excellent and i'm gutted i was so feeling so bad and not really being myself cos I would have enjoyed it even more. was in the mood to just curl up into a ball and fall asleep but still perked up though when Witness by Roots Manuva dropped8) 8).

headed to turnmills and had one of the best nights out dancing for ages, justin robertson was a filthbag and although i didn't stay for the duration of vvvwrong, it was perfect music for that time of night - dirty, sleazy music with tidbits of prog, techno, acid - e.g. energy flash by joey beltram 8) 8)

was cool to spend some time with morbyd and more briefly ferd, robder, mark sun and a hello to fronty. cheers nick (and leah) for a top night and apols for how miserable i was earlier on in the night, but i think tomcat suitably filled that void8O  . i have to say i found it a bit weird meeting all these virtual people in the flesh (especially those at 6am on sun morn), it all got a bit too surreal when at 7am it seemed like half the forum were within five yards of one another:? .

mon/tue -  fue ver a mi abuelo en su lecho de muerte, el murió ayer:( :( :( . total extreme of emotions this wknd, my head is in a mess right now, probably shouldn't really be at work.
