Weekend Rundowns...

8O Thurs - had a work night out in a Kareoke club near Oxford St. Had a good laugh, got nice and drunk and screeched my way through several songs

Friday - Had the day off which was nice. Me and Jon drove down to Brighton for the day. Had a nice pub lunch, walked up Brighton peir and played on some Amusements  then done a mini pub crawl before heading to the Brighton Centre for The Strokes gig 8)
The Strokes were really good, played all their big songs and me and Jon got into the rock spirit by chucking our bottles of drink over the crowd  . Left there at about 11pm and headed back to our hotel.

Saturday - woke up with a raging hangover, dropped Jon off in Leyton, then zoomed back to Watford. Had something to eat then my friend picked me up and we zoomed into Central London to the Trafalgar Hilton to get ready for our girls night out :D
Got VERY VERY drunk, done a bit of pole dancing in a few bars  then headed to Cafe de Paris, which was a pile of poop, left there at about 2am, had a drunked McDonalds then stumbled back to our hotel for another alcohol induced sleep 8O

Sunday - woke up for the third day in a row with a hangover :spank: , managed to crawl out of bed and slept in the car on the way back to Watford.
Done my family duty in the afternoon and visited my Granny (very hard when you feel like death warmed up). Then had a nice roast and tried (but failed) to get an early night. Think Ive picked up a cold now :x

I've decided I never want to drink again, I feel like Im still hungover :spank:

Friday: Got ready to go to HK @ Bambu, after last weekends hiccup i decided i wasnt going to drink myself into oblivion, i had 2 drinks and felt really spaced out and a little drained and strange and Joey was also really tired with a weeks worth of travelling to Manchester and back every day so we left at 1am. It was also stupidly and dangerously packed . Went home and stayed up for a bit watching tv, went to bed around 3am.

Saturday: We both slept in until lunchtime and then spent the rest of the day in our pajamas watching dvd's.

Sunday: Joey had to be up at 3.30am to pick up his dad and drop him off at Digbeth coach station. Got up early and done some shopping, done the usual visits.

Had to stay at least five feet from the husband throughout because the horrible realisation had hit us that we looked like one of those really annoying soho-esque queeny couples that browse habitat on Sunday afternoons. Urgh.

Its all downhill from here Robder!!!

Please don't say that! 8O

How's the skin condition??? Mine has cleared up!
Aqueous cream & Diprobase = the dogs bits.

...

Naddyz - I'm shocked and saddened but most of all, sorry that you had to cope with so many unforseen politics on such a quiet Sunday.

Friday - Met some friends for drinks. Attended club Fabrique's birthday party with special guest Wally Lopez. Great party, good atmosphere, resident DJs played well as did Lopez (which surprised me because I quite disliked his set when I saw him in Ibiza last summer). Good time.

Saturday - Picked up plane tickets to London for later this month. Attended a friend's birthday party at which got quite messy. Trekked out to club Slava (best club design/sound in town, very unfortunate location) to see Stonebridge. Was surprised as he played deeper than I expected, though you'll never guess which song he ended his set with (yep... Put 'em High )

Sunday - Went to a new sports bar to watch Chelsea v Liverpool :D Caught the first half of Barcelona v. Athletico  Later on, over to a different sports bar for the Superbowl.

Went back home and tried to get two hours sleep before work but it took so long to fall asleep that I ended up not getting up until noon. Boss was surprisingly understanding today. :?

I told him to play it for you thats why

Im glad he surprised you anyway, not many people realise that he doesnt play fluffy stuff when he dj's.

Very nice weekend.

Friday night waited for rachel to arrive, and picked her up at about 9 from the station. Got an early night because she was exhausted from working so hard on uni project recently. Had a lovely long lay in till midday on the saturday.

Got up midday saturday and decided it would be nice too do nothing but watch tv all day. So thats what we did, which included England beating wales :D . After that we then planned the dates for ibiza :D and booked the flights on sunday. YAY!

Then off to mos for sander. He was ok, have seem him play better though, and wasn't as busy as i thought it would be, so it was a nice busy. Good to see sarah, tom, and Ferd, and good to meet naddyz briefly. Overall an enjoyable time was had.

Sunday, the usual vegetative state in front of the t.v and a sad bye to rachel.

The crowd seemed to quite enjoy his set. There were even a couple of 'hands in the air' moments.

I hope Stoney didn't freeze... we're in the midst of another sub -20 cold snap this week.

Fri: Went to see Fergie play at Club Snafu in town....great crowd, and he had me dancing for the whole night. Afterwards, headed back to mine for afters....ended up popping out for cigs with a mate around 5am, and bumped into Fergie and his entourage going into their hotel. So...got invited in (met him a few times and always exchange very bad same surname jokes!:? ) for a small afterparty in his room. Great night, and some very amusing incidents:lol:

Fergie is such a top bloke isnt he?? He's a great laugh. I rate his DJing too, even if loads of people dont

Sat: Had a fantastic time at Ministry. Kleinenberg played a great set, id give him an 8/10 since we were in the rating mood on sunday ;) . Specially enjoyed the last few hours.. maybe because like Naddyz said it got a bit trancier  Great seeing him, Robo and Rachel there again. By the way Naddyz who was that female friend you were with??!! 8O  ;)
Cant believe I let myself go to Barbie's after, specially since the taxi took us right by where I live!!
Enjoyed watching the footy with Tom, even if I was willing Liverpool to win.

Well im sure he would have been okay, Sweden is probably just as cold this time of the year :)

This is what he said about it:-

This was my first gig in Moscow since 2003 and the Russian/Ukranian posse was gathered for the night. Have to say that Moscow is not really that eastern anymore, it's more like a New York in Europe and the Slava place is really cool. They love large complexes in Russia so you always find a bowling court, cinema, strip joint etc in many clibs - here too - but the main room here was really something else and the system was LOUD! Started at 2.15 with an Amnesia style ice machine blast, even louder than the system, but boy did it get the attention
wink.gif
Great night and the highlights in the set were 'Love Sensation', the Denis & Jerry dub of Shapeshifters and Antoine Clamaran's remix of Cloud9.

Haji & Emanuel - Take Me Away (SB)
MVP - Bounce, Shake, Love, Stop (Ian Carey Dub)
Spirit ID - Arabian Night (SB)
Marnix & Mustafa - Time 2 Get Funky (Misca Daniels)
Switch - A Bit Patchy
Cloud9 - How Shall I Rock Thee (Antoine Clamaran)
Ian Carey - Say Whay U Want (Dub)
Oliver Moldan - Second Session (SB Edit)
Hariras - Mannequins
Christian Alvarez - Feel The Groove (Franklin D)
Yohanne Simon - Dancefloor Fever
Steve Mac vs Todd Terry - Can You Party (Steve Mac)
Alex Neri - House Track (Steve Angello)
Freemasons - Watchin’ (Dub)
Shapeshifters - Incredible (DTM & JR Dub)
Mama Say - Mama Sa
Eddie Thoenick & Kurd Maverick - Love Sensation
Perfect 10 - Pacific 202
Mink - One Suitcase (SB)
Paris Avenue - I Want You (DTM & JR Bangin Mix)
Chris Kaeser & Antoine Clamaran - Atomic Control (Chris Kaeser)
C Mos - A Million Ways (Axwell)
StoneBridge - Put ‘Em High

a fantastic weekend :)

fri - babysitted my friends kids

sat - played and cooked with the kids during the day, in the evening had a few drinks with some friends and then continued to panama to see nick warren who absolutely rocked it, lost myself on the dancefloor for a good few hours. the crowd was probably the most responsive i've seen in amsterdam, hands in the air etc. ended up in the afterparty at a friends house again with some 15 other people (cheers rob!) and heard some more quality music by mr warren, 16 bit lolitas and rene vidal.

sun - in a heap but it was well worth it

Have to say its not as bad as it was. Im due to see doctor tomorrow evening so not sure whether to go or not. Two possible reasons for it beginning to clear up:
1. Its not as cold as it was last week or the week before.
2. I had my first night of the year out on Friday at Fiction.

Not sure which one is more scientifically likely.

Not sure if there were many Ukrainians there

He's right about Slava... it's a monstrous complex but the main room is very good... one of the best I've seen anywhere. The ice cannon is a bit too massive though... had a friend get his glass blown off by it once

Contrary to what Stoney said, those kinds of megacomplexes aren't that common in Moscow (I can only think of one other among tens of clubs), though you do find them more often in mid-sized Russian cities.

Buckley, surely this doesnt classify as any pervy internet situation seeing as she doesnt even go on here, I think
