Haven't you finished your course Fergs? You know if you have - YOU@RE NOT A STUDENT ANY MORE!!!

Sure have, but I'm still trying to find a job  Got a temp job on Friday though but its shift work, so doesnt really curtail going out

Got a serious case of the shakes today, supposed to have a date tonight to but I've just rearranged it...dont think I'm quite looking my best

You should move to Clapham - full of mid to late twenties folk pretending they're still at Uni.

Wish I was still a student...I had heaps of cash for those 4 years  Still going out at least three nights a week though so guess it still feels like I'm a student  :P

Think I need myself a girlfriend so I don't go out as much ;)

You should of gone anyway and told her the 'elegantly wasted' look is 'in'.

Thing is, I'll go on a date with her, really like her....but I don't want a girlfriend. Feel like you have to be a bastard when your single by kinda dropping them after a few weeks so it doesnt get more serious  :?

Does going on a date imply you want something serious though? God I'm funked

Not if you say straight off, 'I'm not after a serious relationship, just some fun'. Experience has taught me that some women don't tend to think that after the first time you sleep together counts as early enough to make this statement.

Happens all the time: Start seeing a girl for a few weeks, go on dates etc, start really liking each other, then before I know it I'm in a relationship that I dont want

Love being single too much  ;)

I think claiming he's dying to get her in the sack is a bit much Jam. Although I like the way you've worked his current 'look' into the gameplan

Of course he is 'dying' to get her into the sack. Just not literally, if you get what I mean...

Without doubt the bestest wkend of the year, in fact one of the top 5 wkends of all time :D

Fri - few drinks and dinner with Tom.

Sat - got the 'fro blonded and pinked and then we headed over to Jamies Saturday afternoon and started early in preparation for the marathon ahead of us. Gollum came round and we headed to the Joiners Arms as you do :? before getting to Turnmills for 10.30pm. No queues and straight in and after a couple of drinks got on the dancefloor and claimed our spot for the next 12 hours 8O  Now I'm normally Turnmill's biggest critic but everything bout the night was perfect - great crowd, really busy but not unbearable as it sometimes can be there and as for the music 8O Frankie Knuckles got us warmed up nicely, we did intend to go and see Alfredo in Room 2 but there was no way you could miss any of Knuckles' set. And then the man Rampling, well what can I say, I had really high hopes for the night but he even surpassed all them, it was just one exploding moment after another. Great to see all the usual suspects in the house :D At some point on Sunday morning me and Robder decided to play the 'throwing game' :?  so water bottles, plastic cups and anything we could get our hands on were thrown across the club :?  Then I decided to take the game to the next level and proceeded to start throwing my shoes across the club (while poor Tom had to scurry around and retrieve them for me   ) After a few goes at this I throw my shoe again and somehow it manages to wrap itself around a beam on the 10 foot high ceiling :? cue Babs been one shoe down  Despite Tom getting people on his shoulders to try and retrieve it there was no way that shoe was going anywhere so I had to spend the last few hours with just one shoe   Tom eventually got it down at 1.15pm when he had to ask one of the cleaners to borrow their brush   Back to Jamies and the sole aim for the rest of the day/night was to fully destroy ourselves and keep going for as long as we could  A very eventful day where some things that occur when on tour should stay that way   Eventually crawled into bed at 6am Monday morning.
Woke up at 11 Monday morning, had a rose and pizza breakfast and eventually got home at 9pm Monday night when we'd lost the ability to live 8O

Absolutely fantastic wkend, still can't get over that that is the last time we're ever going to see Rampling play  but the boy definitely saw us out in style-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

All I can say is that I can now go to sleep happy in the knowledge that the shoe has returned

My Saturday started off at a very civilised Black tie Dinner/Casino night/Charity auction. By 1am I had grown a bit tired of the usual behaviour (not by me I must add) of drunken men chatting up all the girls in their Ball gowns. There were some lovely items on offer (in the auction that is ;) ) but the lure of Ministry was too much.

Got to MOS just before 2 to Meet up with Ferd and Toni.
It was a great night at MOS and SK (who I've not seen before) is truely a genius. Also enjoyed the Baby Box for a bit of variety.

As Ferd said - we moved onto Turmills to catch Rampling who was good but didn't quite blow me away like others have described, perhaps we just got there after all the highlights :?:

£20 to get in a bit OTT especially as those who had been there all night only paid £15.It was the Turmills special of "Cash only and here's your receipt - a Raffle ticket"
For me the best thing about Turmills was seeing BBS (sorry I didn't really get chance to speak to you mate  ) and Karen plus Scoobies (Congratulations again) and Barbie's Gang :D

The highlight was from 5h30 till about 10am...oh and of course the last half hour. ;)

 at the shoe - I still can't get over the funnyness.

I think you escaped at the right time on Sunday evening, we got progressively worse til we reached new all-time lows 8O

I can imagine!

I was sooo cross I couldn't make it out on Sunday night - I had so much sh*te to sort out unfortunately.

We were bloody busy though weren't we?

I got back to the husband with the news that I'd been on a cruise, I'd been on Safari wearing official safari clothing  , I'd been in a cupboard and designed everyone haute couture carrier bags.
...not to mention all the carol singing and destruction of the nativity.
(How bad were we for doing that?)

((Please tell me what happened after I left!))

Tom took the broken natvitiy people home with us cos he felt sorry for them after we'd vandalled them :? I think we were a tad OOC 8O 8O 8O

I think moving from Kleinenberg to Rampling was never going to work for us. SK plays harder stuff than Ramplong and it was a case of moving down a gear in terms of bpms when at those times you ideally want to move up one!

Friday, got my hair cut and went for a few drinks. Went down to Kent on Saturday to meet my mum and sister for lunch, then we went to see "Mrs Henderson Presents" (lovely film) and did a spot of shopping.

Then I got to Jamie's house (see Barbie's post). 8O
