What a nice but tiring weekend you had, just like me a week or two a go, I intended partying a litle bit in Davids party but just couldn't, I defintly cannot do it more, I need resting because I am completly exhausted after this summer, need settle down. Just need routine and growning up stuff.
Grown up stuff? What's that? The fact that I have a routine is bad enough... Mon-Fri get up, go to work (always 30 mins late), come home, make dinner, surf Internet, sleep. I think of Friday and Saturday nights as beer-music-dancing therapy for the weekday boredom

yess, but now in this very moment I cannot put up with myself, with my body I feel exhausted, instead of going to sleep and have some rest I go out. I am the type that need to do something diferent when the weekend arrive and I am allways doing plans and organising dinners out with my friends or organising all type of activities but seriously after this summer I don't fancy anymore, just ask me in a few of weeks, probably changed my mind by then. :D :D :D

Friday: Went and had my hair done and then rushed back home to get ready for Hed Kandi. Sam and JP came over and Sarah and another friend Simon and we all had a couple of bottles of wine and a little natter and then me, Joey and Simon headed over to Bambu. We were running a little late and Joey practically ran on without me but we got there on time and he done a lovely little warm up for the other guys.

A bottle of wine later and I was a bit tipsy and I got a txt from Sam saying that she was coming over with JP which was great because now I could play with her boobies. Strange strange thing that whenever im drunk im either telling everyone that I think their lovely or if Sams with me im grabbing her in every which way or form.

Had such a good night - best in ages in fact and the people in there were really nice for a change. Music that was played was so much better than usual, went a little deeper but not too deep that it sounded samey.

We left at around 3am and squashed everyone in the car, Sam was lying down on me, Richard and Mike in the back which was quite amusing because we kept shoving our fingers up her nose.

We got back and I had a very deep and meaningfull conversation with Sam and put the worlds to right and they left at around 5am which left Richard and Mike who I later found out that Richard knows Chewie quite well and then I find out that Mike is actually a member from the Roger Sanchez forum who id been speaking with about a year ago.

So without any sleep we drop Richard off @ Galaxy where he works and we drop Mike off home on our way to the old house to wait for the skip. The skip was scheduled to arrive between 8am - midday and it arrived at 11.50. I think we put about 5 items in it before we decided to call it a day. So we went back home and got into bed where we stayed until around 7pm.

Sunday: We got up and went back over to the old house and done what we should have done Saturday - all day!!!!.

Today: KNACKERED!!!!!!!

Dang, you all had such good times this weekend, good for you!! :D

I was a LAAAAAAZY A$$ :P It felt so nice though, to just LET MYSELF sleep in late, work out with no schedule, lay out in the sun and booze whenever I wanted!! The most exciting parts involved a date last night and went downtown tonight with the girls. DJ Dan spun... not too grand :? but my entire posse was there so it was all good!!

Labor Day in the US tomorrow so MORE sleeping in :D :D

As I mentioned last Fri, Thurs night party was excellent with over 300 teenagers, 5 girls to 1 boy ratio followed by;

Fri - Afternoon did a 5 mile hard run with my running partner, was very muggy, then heavens opened up with thunder and lightning and got completely drenched.
Night - Officially the quietist night on record! Between 9.30 and 10.30pm we had 2 customers! 8O They started trickling in after that and didn't really get going til 11.10pm...........and then we only had about 50-70 people who were on their way to the local nightclub. Hate it 'cos the night drags by when it's like that.

Sat - Watched GP Quali then another tough five miles, 2 of them uphill!
Couldn't be bothered to take my vinyl & turntables in to my gig, just used the comp. Much busier night then dumped my gear at home and off to Shindig, Newcastle to see Oscar G. Excellent night, was on the dancefloor and the sound was really assaulting my ears 8O, must get some earplugs. He played tough House for most of the night then the last 45 mins he played Lil Louis - French Kiss, Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams, Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam and Donna Summer - I Feel Love. The full original tracks too apart from French Kiss which he played til just after the breakdown. Got home at 4.30am

Sun - Got up at 12.20pm watched GP then back to bed for an hour or two. Cooked for myself as my son was away at gf's again. Phoned a friend for a night out to Newcastle to Stereo for some funky house. Was on the way to pick her up when I got a phonecall at 8.20pm asking if I could DJ at the new venue I've recently been doing 7 miles away. The organiser has had some excellent reports about me from Bank Holiday Monday and the venue had been asking for me back again. The DJ had just phoned to cancel at the last minute. Picked friend up back to my place and collected my gear and was there by 9pm! Wasn't officially starting til 10pm, so, played myself and friend loads of funky house for an hour as compensation. :D Excellent night with a good crowd, although, I had to play some crappy hard house/rave stuff but fed them plenty of good tunes too. Looks like I may get some more Sun nights there until my own venue starts Sundays in Nov. :D

Was supposed to be going to Italy to visit my friend Nick. But we had some MORE bad news/problems so we could not face the travelling just for a weekend so....

Friday - BBQ then we got ratted on Brandy and whiskey! :?

Sat- Hangover from Hell! Lunch at our local pub, shopping. Eve another BBQ

Sun- We went on a mini adventure! Drove to portsmouth and got the car ferry to the Isle of white, had a Lobster lunch near the sea, walked aroung the needles and shanklin chines. We even bought some pickles and Jam! We are offically 80 years of age i think. Got the ferry back at 9pm, lightening storms were amazing ( if not a bit scary)

Nice chilled one and I am now an offical Isle of white granny. :P

Sounds ace! (apart from the shops being shut and the cabs of course)

:D

Friday Night Went out for dinner with my folks, and called it an early night.

Saturday Took my folks to Downtown LA to the Fashion District, Jewelry District, Little Tokyo, etc. Later on I took them to Old Town Pasadena and the Rose Bowl. Capped up everything with a great Mexican dinner.

Sunday Dropped off my folks at the airport, and then relaxed after two hectic weeks.

Today I have not made up my mind yet as to what to do.

Fri - had my mum, dad, gran and grandad down staying with us. Soooo nice to see them and my grandad was in such good health :D Ate and drank lots.

Sat - took my family to Kingston shopping where I got totally spoilt and out for lunch, then watched the football. Saturday evening Tom drove us over to Jamie's and Rach came over for some pre-Ministry shenanigans. Met up with Jon and Bec and various others in Ministry, took Danny Rampling stalking to the next level 8O  and Rampling played such an awesome set with lots of exploding moments :D It was quite emotional as well cos it's the last time we'll ever see him in the Box

Sun - left Ministry and we went back to Jamie's where we decided to do a scientific experiment to see how much k_______ it is possible to take 8O 8O  After being on a cruise for 3 hours  had a few lucozades and headed out for the last Secretsundaze of the year. Met up with Ferd and went to 93ft East which was so much fun, rolling around in the gutter kind of summed up our state  Went back to Jamies, took road closures to the next level 8O got lots of new acquisitions 8O  and then went for a roll round Jesus Green before finally all having a sleepover at Jamies

Mon - our 'unofficial' Bank Holiday so spent the day on the rose eating crap.

Fab wkend all round :D
