Such a great weekend i feel i have to share it all with you right away, weve not long got back home and ive had to open a bottle of wine to steady my nerves and my shaky hands
Friday: Me & Joey had the day off work so we travelled down to Brighton quite early, stopping off for a nice cooked breakfast on the way. Got to brighton for midday and i wasnt impressed to start off with, thought it looked quite drab. Checked into our hotel which was a converted house, the room we were in first was very small but as we were only in it for 4 hours in the end it didnt really matter
.
So .. . had a stroll around the front and tried to find this bar that the DSI party was at, i was not a happy bunny
, we must of walked around the whole of brighton about 6 times. Had a meal at the Terraces bar and restaurant, absolutle let down, the service was terrible and the food was quite foul
, i was happy with my wine and Joey made a comment that i should drink wine more often because then im not so high maintenance
.
Buckley sends Joey a txt to meet up in 30 mins, by the time they had already got to us i was already
, from this point until about 10pm it was all a bit blury. I can remember me holding this furry ball thing that was Anna's bag which was a lovely little hampster called Hammy
and also me nearly being sick but managing to contain myself. I started drinking water after this, it was either that or i needed to be sick
. Well we walked to the DSI party at the club to be greeted by the most arrogant to$$er i have ever met, the promoter called us over and said that we couldnt be in there yet
, well
he had had it as far as i was concerned so i let him have it full force
, i wont repeat what i said to him but im still laughing
.
We all decided to leave there as soon as, even Buckley was pissed off with him, i think it was either before this or after that me & Anna went on the merry go round
.
We went to Hed Kandi, i could tell that the others wasnt really into it and didnt really want to stay so thanks for staying as long as you did guys
. We stayed until the end with Bonnie and Paul Wilkins and went back to their hotel until about 5am. Dont remember getting back to the hotel but i do remember getting up at about 10am and then going to be sick
, i looked so green.
We moved into the other room at 12pm and it was lovely, oriental themed room. We went and had fish and chips on the pier and had a stroll. We done so much walking that the backs of our calfs are like footballs. We went back to the hotel at about 4pm for a nap and got back up at 7pm for dinner, we finally found somewhere that looked decent at 8pm. Restaurant was called Havana and it was truly amazing inside, very sophisticated. It came to £80 altogether and i only had a main and a dessert, Joey had the 3 courses, we had a cocktail each and a bottle of water. It was a bit pricey compared to all the others we looked at but well worth it for the service and the food.
Today we got up, had some brekkie and then checked out. Had a stroll around the pier again and sat in a deck chair for a bit acting like a grandpa and grandma on our holidays
. We had some more chips
and then decided to come home.
Excellent weekend
