Fri - Tom cooked some fancy food for us, didn't go out cos needed to be up bright and early to go shopping.

Sat (day) - Did lots of shopping so all set for Ibiza now, met up with Jamie early afternoon who'd been Ibiza shopping too for lunch and a few spritzers. After the first bottle all plans for a quiet wkend went straight out the window and Ministry was on the cards

Sat (night) - popped over to Clapham for Stephen's party where it was Eurovision city  Then taxi to Ministry. Sooo many exploding moments with DJ Pierre and Justin Robertson was playing some diiirrttty diiiirtttty acid. Left at end and headed home cos I'd promised Tom at the beginning of the season I'd go to Chelsea Victory Parade with him (altho I didn't expect them to actually win when I commited myself to it   )

Sun - few Lucozade shenanigans and then drove over to Fulham armed with bottles of rose. The parade was lots of fun altho I think we were the only people who'd come straight from clubbing :? Tom was made up to see his beloved heroes and me and Jamie learnt lots of Chelsea songs  Few drinks afterwards then headed home before eventually passing out in wine coma

Fab wkend all round :D

The rundown of my weekend isn't fit to post on a public messageboard 8O

Boy do i feel rough today!

Hehe I have come to the conclusion that I have got no willpower whatsoever and I can't even rely on Tom these days to keep me on the straight and narrow

5 days til Homelands :D :D :D

Rob, next time you're in Shottingham go to Stealth 8)

There wasn't much on this weekend, and we didn't fancy Max Headroom (we couldn't find any info about him) so we just hit a few bars and headed over to snug, but it was still a good night.

They've got a function 1 haven't they :D

Rachel's housemate sometimes works on reception there and could get us on the guestlist. Next time there is something good on we'll go there.

Rob's sensible, "quiet", grown up weekend:

(Was 'supposed' to be resting up and detoxing for Homelands :? )

Friday: Went to see an arty farty performance artist in Bethnal Green which turned into a club afterwards (arty & performance should constitute 'grown up' here)...it was at the 291 gallery, a converted church and one of my fave London venues (Pushca used it on NYE). The night was hosted by Drama, Dirty Fairy, Trailor Trash and all the London electroheads were out in force including the Bethnal green freak show I met after TG a few weeks back. :D

Saturday: Massive lie in followed by a shopathon on Oxford St...beached in front of the telly with a beer & watched the cup final...(yay , Arsenal! I'm a supporter by proxy as my flat mate was in Cardiff watching it).
Saturday eve, was literally kidnapped and taken to the Renaissance rooms for Action's 3rd birthday. Had an absolute blinder and got dragged kicking and screaming to a horrible after hours hole.
Spent the next few hours in mother hen/St John's ambulance mode looking after some poor bloke who had taken too much G and was in the biggest K hole of his life.
Also met a lovely man...

Sunday...

Monday...  Saw my management consultant off to work in his Tommy Hilfiger suit - yummy!

Walk of shame  work. :(

Fri - blew out my football team annual dinner & awards do. Was just too knackered for the carnage that always ensues. Couple of beers with the current and early to bed.

Sat - headed down to Bournemouth for our 2nd anniversary. Hit a lot of traffic en route and didn't make it until mid-afternoon. Had a stroll along the front, a dip in the hotel pool, watched the footy in a boozer and then had dinner in a nice restaurant.

Sun - After breakfast had a walk down to the pier and paid the 50p each ( ) to get on there. Wandered back to the hotel, checked out and then drove to Lulworth Cove. Forgot just how beautiful this part of the country is. Memories came flooding back from my school trip there as a nine year old! We took a walk over the hill/cliff to Durdle Door and back again and built up an appetite for a lovely early dinner.

So... this morning I was full of the joys of spring, until one of my mates who lives with us rang me. Told me to check my car as all the cars in our road had been 'keyed' last night. Just checked and the passenger side of my car has a deep gouge running all the way from bumper to bumper. Nice!

My mate who rang had his brand new black TT done too.

I suppose you have to laugh - wonder if the culprits were wearing hoods? Should I write to the Daily Mail?

Have you ever been to Dirty Fairy at 333?? We so need to go one Thursday, last time me and Jamie went there was a bloke writhing around on the bar in a pink bikini made of his flowers............and then he proceeded to be the DJ for the night  Only at Dirty Fairy

No Robder you're a Chelsea supporter   The fact that Freddie plays for Arsenal does not make you an Arsenal fan  ;)

Who's Freddie???
I'm such a fraud. I'll morph into a Chelsea supporter at the weekend if it makes you happy.

re: D___ f___ - yes, yes, yes!!! I think I probably know that DJ you're talking about actually. Collecting east London freaks is my new hobby! I've got one in every colour & gender!

Freddie = perfection  Hang on let me find picture of him for you ;)

Yes would be most appreciated if you could morph into Chelsea supporter for Homelands, I don't want Tom rucking with my B_______

Yes that will be the one, was he wearing a bikini at the wkend

had a messy one thursday night and had to spend all weekend recovering....leading me to the conclusion that i am getting old and gonna have to stay sober for pretty much the whole of my ibiza hols.

Friday: Went to Turnmills to see Fergie, and Steve Angello & Ingrosso. Caught about 2 hours from the Sublimal boys in T2, good electro style house. Pretty much same tunes as the album. They seemed to be enjoying themselves which is good to see. Fergie came on soon after. His first 20 mins were even too techy for me, very dark. Afterwards he got a bit more melodic and his last hour was superb. Askew finished of the night with some banging trance.
Some major DJ stalking was done too (not intentional) as i managed to chat to Askew, Ingrosso and Fergie in the members lounge at various points in the night   .
I saw Mark Sun go in to Turnmills, yet missed him inside.. did you leave early??

Saturday: After far too little sleep, I headed to Serious with Copperband and mates. Glad you made it after your initial doubts ;) Good opening sets from Simon Patterson, plus Matt Hardwick. I didnt enjoy the Dusted Arch this time round. It was far too soulful and handbag house for my liking. Was convinced to go to The Key for afters, but only lasted till 8. :(

Next weekend.. BREAK.

any news from Sasha's set at Fabric????
