Oh go on then. As I've discovered resistance is futile

What's the point in denying yourself  ;)

Talking of Homelands have you spoke to Jamie today, I checked train times today and they're only doing bloody works on that line that wkend and the 1 hour journey is now 2+ hours and involves lots of changing and getting on a bus for part of it 8O

But the good news is the Chauffeur says he'll drive ;)

yeah, it is a good place to go, bit narrow, but if you get in early enough there's a nice seating area at the back, used to know Duncan, the guy that ran it, big man city fan, top bloke too, me & my mates spent nuff cash & time in there!!! what always made it better was the (ahem) quality of the laydeez in there too!!!, very easy on the eye they were. Also whilst I was there they opened "dogma" in byard lane, next to reiss, where i had my sat job.....so we never had too far to go for post work bevvys!!! ;)

Just back from Manchester...
Ya... sorry about that. I was pulling for you.

Oh well. It was an exciting day anyway. And to think that back in January, we all thought our season was already over.

The atmosphere was tremendous. Proved that City's fans are up there with the best in the world. Constant singing and getting behind the team and virtually everyone stayed until after the end to cheer the team as they did their lap around the pitch. Fowler looked amazed that everyone was applauding him and shouting out his name despite his penatly miss in the 93rd minute.

Still can't get over the sight of David James playing upfield! He wasn't bad either.

Yeah Brass Monkey is still there and a very nice place. Dogma has gone slightly down hill IMO.

Best bar for me is Browns. Prob because my friend is the manager, but spend a lot of time there and the ladies are normally nicer than in Brass....then its normally obver the road to The Market Bar.
