Friday had a nice meal with Tom.

Saturday had my 'fro tamed and then headed over to Jamies and my weekend home  Had a few spritzers waiting for Tom to get round. Got to Ministry nice and early and had a couple of drinks upstairs and had a booth moment  and then straight into the Box. Met up with Alex and the lovely Crofty and Carolanne again. Julz warmed up nicely and then Josh Wink came on, proper acid house and I thought my head was going to explode  Then Harry Choo Choo finished the night off in style-eeee and proved why he was always my fave from the Subliminal family :D Back to Jamies and a few lucozade and rose shenanigans, went to the Macbeth but it was closed  so had a couple of spritzers in Hoxton Square waiting for part 2 - Secret Sundaze. How much do I love Secret Sundaze, there is no better way to spend a Sunday, sat out in the sunshine or throwing a few shapes to the best electro. Good to see Ferd again, still going strong :D Reluctantly left there about 7, back to Jamies for a few drinks until Tom finally got me in a headlock and got home about midnight.

Barbie was up early today :D

OK, the weekend:

Friday - reopening of the fabulous Club XIII. Great remodelling they've done to the place since it closed 2 years ago. Local DJ Grad opened up the festivities (anyone see him at El Divino in 2001?), followed by Paul from Hed Kandi who kepth things moving. Mark Doyle came on later and was attrocious. Went home at 3:30 because...

Saturday - Work. That sucked. Bailed a half-hour early to go drink beer at Molly Gwynn's pub with the guys. Made a side trip to another bar, Apshu, for one drink with some journalists, then back to the pub. 5 hours of sleep + 8 hours work + 6 hours drinking = crashed early (around 1)

Sunday - Went to Gorbushka, Moscow's killer music and video market where I picked up a bunch o' CDs and a few DVDs. Made lagman (a Central Asian lamb and noodle stew) for dinner. mmmmmmm good :D

Friday - Met up with Mark Sun, Johnny Arthur and then Anil and mates, then headed down to Turnmills. From my rather hazy memory of events, Johnny and Tania Von Pear were the star performers. Obviously couldn't to the sensible thing and go home after the club closed, so carried on at Mr Sun's until the afternoon, then finally let go to bed while heading off on a pub crawl. The current Mrs B finally saved me from myself by calling me about 8.30pm and saying I should come and meet her in Camden. Home by 10ish couple more beers and in bed by midnight on a Saturday!

Sat - See above.

Sun - Plan for healthy-ish day when tits up when the sun came out early doors. Few drinks by the lock in Camden and then homeward bound for local beers with local mates. Until closing.

Definitely on a health drive until Fri 03 June now......

Secret Sundaze. How much do I love Secret Sundaze

We drove by around 1.45pm after buying loads of plants and flowers at Columbia Road Flower market........and saw you in the queue.....actually Anthony spotted your sun glasses!!!

Friday: Dinner at a friends.
Saturday: Studied all day (only three weeks to go to exam!!) and then went to cocktail party in friends in Shoreditch.
Sunday: Spent all day buying stuff for the garden.

All in all a pretty quiet weekend.

The big pink sunglasses are a bit of a giveaway

You should have popped in and said hi and had a spritzer in the sunshine ;)

Headed off to Nottingham straight after work to see rachel, got there about quarter past nine. So just decided to take it easy on friday.

Saturday strolled around Nottingham, had lunch and did shopping. Lovely city. Really really nice place.

Saturday night - Went to a place calle tantra for pre drinks. If this place was in London it would be wickid as an afterparty place. Small, dark, underground, lots of seating and a nice sized dancefloor. During the day we noticed that Norman Jay was in town so went to see him play at Lost weekend. Really good. Nice and soulful, good vibes house music. Great - Left there at 4, when it closed.

Sunday - Got up late and headed into town for a stroll and for something to eat.

Coach home sunday night

A great weekend, Nottingham is a really nice place. Soo good bars, and i was surprised at the amount of known dj's playing there in the up and coming weeks.

The Lost Weekend used to be The House in my Nottingham days, is there still a big bed in the upstairs room??

...and a happy 5HTP fuelled morning to you all! :D

Friday - Got off the train in Brighton and was met by a taxi full of old mates and immediately whisked away to a seedy kemp town flat where things immediately started to get messy.
Escaped and went to an art installation/performance thingy on the level which was great - loads of lights, video screens hung together with a strange dialogue - v thought provoking.
After this, went drinking in Charles St and carried on upstairs till kick out time...adopted a couple of trannies as per usual.

Saturday - Woke up with no hangover :D ...caught up with more old friends and went to look at the Streets of Brighton festival (with the exception of gay pride it's the best day of the year to be in Brighton). Loads of bizarre street entertainment - people watching heaven.
In the evening, went to a friend's birthday party, got very messy and had completely lost it by morning. Hilariously funny but I'll spare you the details.

Sunday - Urgh...got back on the wine at 10.00am and managed to power myself down to the beach. Gorgeous day in the sunshine - perfect weather to be by the sea. Fell asleep, dribbled, woke up, waffled shit & repeated the above till getting on the last train back to London bridge.

Friday - Worked all day at our new store opening! After work, got changed and headed out to Bar Blu for a few drinks came home just before 1am was a bit pants for a change!

Saturday - Worked once again all day went home got changed then back out! Started off in a small bar called Shooterz around 9.30pm had a few drinks followed by a few shots, then round onto the promenade to Vanilla Lounge** at about 11pm and danced the night away! I didnt head upto Blush for a change, that was probably due to the rather attractive females we were dancing with. Was home around 2.30am due to my mate working yesterday an dI had the day off lol

**Vanilla Lounge is 2 for 1 club! Downstairs is Chart-type music and a few golden oldies to get people started and happy, then upstairs is Club Blush which provides proper dance music and its always good in the summer always busy an dplenty of people wanting a damn good time! Blush had Ultrabeat DJ (Ian I Think His Name Was) on bank holiday monday and it was brilliant!

Friday: shooping and a nice dinner with Pep
Saturday: Spent half of the day fixing my motorbike wheel. At late went to my friends to watch the football and then went down las ramblas and stayed there till 3.00 am. Got home totally drunk
Sunday: spent half day trying to survive the huge hangover, after lunch meet friends to go to Barça's parade.
Today: we were meant to go to the beach but it's not sunny... :?

Weekend consisted of plenty shroomage, columbians, equadors and philosophers together is a niiiiiiiice combination  Not laughed so much all year

Ended up paranoid as a group, unable to get in the door of a pub but all good fun

Friday : Julius Ceasar at the Barbican...very good indeed...modern dress and my fave actor Anton Lesser... :D :D

Saturday : Great Eastern Dining Room with a big group of friends - not bad but E&O (its sister) is better...then a couple of local bars and then somehow ended up in Egg...messy...

Sunday : Lazy day...was it sunny ? 8O

Saturday afternoon: sat outside in the sunshine

Saturday night: had a nice meal with family and went to see Hitchhikers guide

Sunday: Ran my first 10k in just over an hour, was hard work as the sun was shining the whole way but felt proud of myself!!! :D

Sunday night: watched as all the nutters beat each other up in my street after the Celtic game. Worst bit was when a guy slammed a girl's head against Scott's car. Good tip if you are ever buying a house in Glasgow, make sure you are not in the vicinity of of pubs affliated with Glasgow football teams :(

Is it still Lovezoo at lost weekend Rob?

The bed is sadly gone :( Last time i was there they were playing a load of hard house upstaris 8O

Fri: Nothing

Saturday: Played pitch&putt in the morning. Went to the pub in the evening to watch Barca win the league :D :D . Got very drunk, and then headed to Type. Again a really good night. I might go as far as to say it's beating The Gallery as my favourite night in London at the moment 8O . Futureshock and Seb didnt disapoint. Was good to catch up with Russ and SuperD in there too 8) .
Decided to leave slightly early as I was aware my friend wanted to go to Secretsundaze on sunday.

Sunday: Had a fantastic time at Secretsundaze. First time there, and its the closest Space/DC-10 vibe ive found in London. Barbie, you definitely didnt leave at 7, as I left at quarter past and you were still happily throwing some shapes on the dance floor at the time

Feel awful today

Went to type at The Cross on sat, (as Ferd said). Good to see him and his covern ;) and SuperD too.

Loved the music, Seb was really good, not what i was expecting (mundane, clikerty-clackerty nonsence) but tough edged driving tunez. Heard the weirdest vocal EVER, dunno if anyone else has come across it: A bloke saying "My washing machine does not work" over and over again.

Base Bar Ibiza were hosting the far arch. really cool funky time in there. Bumped into the touseled haired Jason (also from Es Vive). He claims to have spent a fortune on new furniture for the rooms for this season. We shall see ;)

Still have huge doubts about the cross though as i spent yet annother night being pushed from pillar to post
