I popped into the absenta bar, Marseila, the next night, and nearly got high just on the fumes! Very atmospheric place, redolant of Picasso and Genet, next to the seediest street in town, San Ramon 8O 8)

Shit! I forgot to talk you about Pastis! :?
It's the smalles absinta bar in the world, full of selfportraits of the first owner, who used to paint after a bottle of absinta 8O El Greco compared
to this guy is the most realistic thing in the world

Next time you come make for sure a kinky bar's tour ;)

No that's cool - actually I've been to Pastis...nice!

Have you been to La Concha?

What's MA?

La Concha is a drag queen and gay bar. The owners are 1000% fans of Sara Montiel, actress on the 50's, the spanish equivalent to Sofia Loren but now much more crapt in her decadence.
The bar is like a Sara Montiel's church

I missed all the best places!! I did have a coffee in a little bar on Carrer D'En Robdarado (?) off San Pau though....I think they're basically brothels that sell drinks!! 8O   You can't beat a bit of culture....!!

Fri: Early night after a 6 hour drive to Glasgow and back 8O

Sat:Went to a bar in town in the afternoon that just built a new terrace...very nice. Party at mine, ended up far too messy, and could not sleep at all.

Sun: On no sleep, headed out with mates to see Picotto. Great night, then ended up back at an after party till 10am. Couldnt sleep again, so just stayed up :?

Mon: Finally got my first sleep last night since Friday night :D

Friday:
Pegged it home after work to make for The Gallery boat party. It was superb, better than the night itself I thought. Really great crowd, proper Gallery regulars who created a good atmosphere. Tall Paul played a chunky house set, followed by Gavyn Mitchell (who played Mark Suns track, it went off matey ;) ) finishing with Askew and his usual tough techy trance sound.
Got on a tube in a rather messy state and made it to Turnmills by 1 or so. It was far too rammed, so we more or less chilled till 5 or so before Askew again played a blinder. I'm not a huge trance lover, but this guy pushes the right buttons for me every time!

Saturday nothing:

Sunday: Met up with Copperband and others and headed to Seriousworld. It made a pleasant change to have some room to dance this time. Thought Eddie Halliwell was superb, his enthusiasm was very refreshing and technically he was absolutely flawless. Oliver Lang was also good in the funky room, as was Askew (again). Missed X-amount somehow. Hope to meet you another time. :D

All in all im now shattered.
