Friday went to Jamies and then headed to The End, met up with Rachel and co, also good to see some old faces there :D Thought Lawler was pretty average tbh, def not one of the better sets I've seen him play. Left af the end and weren't feeling clubbed out so we headed to AM, queued for a bit in sub zero temperatures  but the queue was going nowhere  so headed back to Jamies. Got very lucozade and mushroom silly. After amusing ourselves with the Miracle Laser Boy aka Tom for hours went out for some minxy adventures. Climbed a few trees, went to Casualty 8O  and then went to Buckingham Palace  Also did a few things that should never be repeated again 8O

Stayed at Jamies again, got up Sunday morning and got on the ruby juice and then headed to our old favourite Jams  to watch the football, eventually remembered last night that me and Tom don't actually live at Jamies and we have our own flat in West London so thought we'd best go home

Friday, meet one of my best friends in serious work crisis, spent the night drinking, smoking and doing therapy for him. Got home around 4
Saturday, drove up to a country house for a birthday weekend. Before lunch I was drunk and after lunch I was a mess 8O We didn't stay the night cos it was too cold and got back home around midnight.
Yesterday did nothing

Friday: Went to a leaving do from work, couldn't drink much till late because I was on call. Got turned away from local crap club (Frontier, used to be the 'world-famous' Batley Variety Club) for having trainers on (although they let a gang of absolutely trollied and agressive young lads in). Went for a couple of beers at the curry house down the road, home at 3.30.

Saturday: Called out to work at 6am after 2 1/2 hours sleep. Finally got everything sorted at midday. Met up with some mates at 1.30 for a 'couple of drinks'. Ended up in Leeds (where I was going anyway) at about 10.30pm. Wandered round a couple of pubs. Last in the gang to try get in the Revolution, no-go for me as I'm wearing trainers. Everyone was inside, So Many Times was playing and my mate had all my goodies and wasn't answering his phone. Went home and consoled myself with some music and some dancing round my room.

Sunday: Back to work for more problems, then to the local for a couple of quiet pints. 8 hours later rolled in back at home.

Was trying to have a quiet weekend, but:

Fri: Girlfriend arrived about 9pm, then we got straight on the rose. Next thing we know its 9am the next morning, we're dancing about the living room, all my cd's are all over the floor....and we've run out of Lucozade 8O Good fun though ;)

Sat: Felt extremely rough, so shilled all day, then went out to a nice new restuarant. Gorgeous food, and was very happy when they forgot to charge us for our main courses :D ;)

Sun: Up early and into town for holiday shopping. I came away with lots of new shorts, sunglasses, trousers, and bag. GF bought lots of new bikinis, shorts etc.

Very good weekend 8)

Friday night
Went to Newquay to go to 'Jelly Jazz' at the Koola but found that was closed  and got talked into going to see Trevor Nelson at a nearby club

Utter Utter rubbish - the guy can't mix, can't work a crowd and I ended up getting horribly drunk at the bar...

Saturday
Went shooting with big ass shotguns (just the right kind of thing to do after a heavy night 8O ) then lunch at a lovely pub in St Ives before a night in with Friends

Sunday
Cup Final - we lost to Chequebook FC

First weekend off for ages.
Did nothing other than watch the footy.. (Mourinho is really getting on my t*ts ;) )

Ferd!

Mourinho won Best clown' Oscar   ;)

Friday: Couple of local beers because footy next day required a clear head....until I got call to say the game was off. Made plans to visit The End to see BBS, Kang and the Scoobies but got waylaid.

Sat: Suffering from I severe case of Colombian Flu, remembered why I don't do 'that' - it just doesn't suit me. Decided to blow the cobwebs out by driving down to Brighton. Last minute hotel booking led to staying somewhere run by a Basil Fawlty/Pete Postlethwaite hybrid!

Few beers later ended up at the Zap. Tim Deluxe was meant to be playing -dunno if he did - the highlight of the night for the student disco style crowd in there appeared to be that awful 'Waiting for a star to fall' update.

Sun - Went on ghost train on the pier - virtually everything else was closed 'due to adverse weather conditions'. Absolutely pissed my self laughing when the current's waffle on a stick got nicked by a huge seagull just as she was a about to take a bite out of it (the waffle, not the seagull you understand - she's a vegetarian). Watched the footy in the pub and then had a roast dinner before heading back home. Great day - nice to have a full weekend with the current as work's so... busy right now.

So... a good weekend but nothing extraordinary to report.

Fri - The End with all the old spotlight crew!

Sat - Spent the day working on a new tune with that musical meastro, dam0 8) 8)

Sun - played around with cubase all day then went for a drink with a nice girl I had met at the end on fri.

Fri - nothing

Sat - started off going along with a mate to a friends 30th Birthday in Bristol to a so say new trendy bar...it turned out to be an irish bar with a couple of crusties on an electric fiddle an ecoustic guitar. It was very loud ,very crap and I couldn't wait to escape :? i left them to it and decided on a solo run to "Scream" at the bristol academy. It was light house/breaks upstairs and hard house tastic in the main room.Although not a big fan of the latter I did have a surprisingly very good night. I know it's not terribly cool to admit to liking "faster" music but it made quite a nice change to listen to a different genre. It was a good crowd and not too packed so at least there was plenty of space to throw those arms in the air  Not on a par with London but still nice to find the odd good night out in your home town.

Sunday - slept until midday then bit of DIY, watched Chelsea win :D then bit more DIY then watched Inter vs Milan plus a bit of Valencia vs Ath Bilbao :D

Fri: Nothing

Sat: Went to Club Seven here in Dallas to see DJ Hyper. He threw down some sick breaks and had the place jumping for a solid 2 hours. Nice vibe and great music.

Sun: Watched TV

Fri: Went by this basement bar called Apshu for happy hour with the journalist corps. Ran home to change, grab the missus, and head out to a rockin' b-day party for a buddy of mine named... honestly... Toto. It was at a great new NYC-style bar called 30/7 (its address). Dj Kiddo (from Birmingham) was in the house to keep the toons flowing. From there, it was over to club Penthouse where a DJ from Pacha-Egypt was spinning. After a spat with the wife, I gave her 1000 rubles (20 quid), left her there and headed over to club Fabrique where a UK DJ named Mike Knight was spinning and various clubbing friends made brief appearances. Hit Starlite Diner for a carry-out chicken quesadilla on the way home at 6ish.

Sat: Sat on my ass all day. Got dressed at midnight and headed over to club Fabrique to see local DJ favorite Katrin Vesna and visiting UK import Dj Eve (also of Birmingham... a running theme for the weekend? Was apparently in the Charlyz Angels crew). Both ladies played some good uplifting house. I played wallflower alone for a couple of hours until various friends showed up. A lively evening in the end.

Sun: Sat on my ass all day. Got dressed at 5 and headed over to the sportsbar to see Chelsea FC take what was rightfully theirs. Trophy Number one of the Mourinho era. More to come.

No, Silvia. That trophy is called the League Cup or, alternatively, the Carling Cup :D
