Weekend Reviews

Headed onto Cross for 12.30am and got into the groove. I dont know what it is about this place that i love so much, perhaps its the fact that London clubbing has no attitude at all and thats why i love it so much, its such a refreshing change. I love the fact that it was so busy in there too, its adds to the atmousphere.

You can never go wrong with the Cross! :D

Not really got much else to add about saturday night. Had a brilliant time. Thought Desyn and Sander were both on top form. I thought the crowd was spot on too, (I dont know Russ, you complain when The Cross is too busy, now you complain because Ministry wasnt busy enough..;) )
Specially liked it when the new Sharam single was played.

Vvvwi was a bit disappointing, and it wasnt a patch on the opening night. Having seen how good it can be I might still give it a go on easter sunday, it should be better then seeing its bank holiday monday. The music was decent, thought Oliver Lang played a good set. There just wasnt the atmosphere. :?

I dont think they chose turnmils so it would be a glam venue, Turnmills is by its nature quite grimy and "undergound". If you like it bright, cleaner, funky and slightly more commercial then EGG or Key is better like Russ and Kang say. Maybe the vvvwi people assumed some clubbers would be up for a dirtier afterparty, but it seems like thats not the case.:?

Nothing interesting to post but oh well....

Fri:Dinner with the other half....back to mine to watch DVD (Flight Plan). Early night.

Sat: Painter arrives at bloody 9am and I´m still in my PJs:x ...drive to Gibraltar with bfriend to pick up some kitchen things that came from the UK and of course to pop in Marks & Spencers!!! On the way back stopped in Algeciras to see a friend that had just had a little litter of puppies....and I decided I just couldnt leave without one!! I am now mummy to a little French Bulldog called Monza!!! Spent the rest of the day showing off my new baby!!!:D

Sun: Woke up at ridiculous hour of 6am to watch Alonso win the Grand Prix...Viva España!!! Ate paella in a chiringuito in Cabopino and spent the rest of the afternoon in the sun. Early night.

Is this what happens when you buy a house? Early nights, no shopping, quiet weekends, boring old fart am I?!!!

Aww how exciting Lou, any pictures :D

Friday: Worked Late then chilled in front of the tv

Saturday: Had to work till abot 1pm. Then met Russ for a warm up Drink, then on to Ministry. I thought Sander and Co where excellent had a really good night and it was good to meet up with the "crew"

Carried on to VVVWI, thought it was ok, nothing special. The crow left a lot to be desired. Left about 11am went home for a breif nap cos I had tickets for Depeche Mode at Wembley. They where awesome one of the best live bands ive ever seen. Left there and had a misson getting home, the tube back took forever meaning we had missed our last train home so had to call a cab. I ended up getting back to Croydon about 1.30am after leaving Wembly at 11pm! had to be up for 7 to get into work. Feeling a bit wrong at the moment

Awww. I'm jealous. I love Depeche. Seen them 4 times over the years plus David solo once and it's always been a good time.

They were here in March but I left it too late to get tix and there were none to be found :spank:

We left and went back to the flat for a lovely cup of yorkshire tea before heading home.

What a shame i didnt know you were there, we could have met. That would have been nice
